As summer comes to a close, so does the line-up of summer camps at the SMART Campus. ☀️🌳 Check out some highlights from our recent Armenia-Georgia Youth Connect summer camp, which brought together around 60 young Armenians and Georgians, ages 17 to 24. Our goal was to foster communication through experience sharing and an appreciation for each other's cultures. This program was made possible through our collaboration with the @Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia and the Ministry of Education Science and Youth of Georgia. 🤝

Gyumri through the eyes of a tourist 🧳👀 Meet our talented students from the English Access Program, who, during an educational visit, had the chance to explore the enchanting city of Gyumri—all in an English-speaking environment. Students from the Armavir, Aragatsotn, and Shirak regions embarked on a journey of discovery and connection, experiencing Gyumri's rich culture and history. From the Dzitoghtsyan Museum and the Merkurov Museum to pottery and gata-making workshops, plus a city tour with U.S. Peace Corps volunteers (where English was the only language allowed!), this visit was truly unforgettable. Promoting a healthy lifestyle is at the heart of COAF's mission. 🩺✨ We’re excited to share the “Ambassador of a Healthy Lifestyle” competition, a joint campaign by the RA Ministry of Health and partner companies. The program wraps up with a six-day camp taking place now at the COAF SMART Center in Lori! 🎯 This campaign encouraged secondary schools across Armenia to create innovative projects on healthy living. The winners in four key categories will become true ambassadors of a healthy lifestyle and culture. To take into account the challenges of the digital world and guide students through the vast expanse of the internet, helping them spot good content, create high-quality material, and harness online opportunities for learning. We are deeply saddened by the passing of Zaven Khanjian, a dear friend of COAF and the Executive Director of the Armenian Missionary Association of America (AMAA Armenia) Mr. Khanjian was a dedicated advocate for the empowerment of Armenians everywhere. Children of Armenia Fund extends its heartfelt condolences to Mr. Khanjian’s family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.
