The Argentina Investment Forum 2024 has wrapped up, and I couldn't be more thankful and inspired! More than 1,000 participants came together—investors, entrepreneurs, CEOs—each contributing to an atmosphere buzzing with excitement, ideas, and ambition for the future of Argentina. A huge thank you to ARCAP (Asociación Argentina de Capital Privado, Emprendedor y Semilla) and the team led by Fernando Paez Solchaga who made this event possible, and to all the incredible speakers and panelists who joined us. It was a pleasure to have inspiring leaders like Eduardo Elsztain (IRSA), Federico Braun (La Anónima), Fabián Kon (Galicia Bank), and Mariano Tamborini (Grupo Arcor) on my panel on Corporate Innovation. Our conversation really showcased the immense potential of Argentina's ecosysten to drive innovation and foster collaboration between startups and corporations. I also want to give a special shout-out to some of the amazing keynote speakers, like Daniel Rabinovich, who shared fascinating insights into how Mercado Libre is leveraging AI, and Eric Acher (monashees), who was so generous in sharing his journey as a VC in LatAm over the past 20 years. The fireside chat with Guillermo Rauch with Ariel Arrieta was truly inspiring, and having several ARCAP (Asociación Argentina de Capital Privado, Emprendedor y Semilla) members share their insights on Private Equity and VC panels was just fantastic. To Mariano Mayer thank you for those inspiring, yet grounded and uplifting opening remarks! It was also incredible to hear from inspiring women like Susana Garcia-Robles, who shared her deep expertise on venture capital; Daniela Espinosa, co-founder of Kushki, who provided valuable insights into the fintech landscape; and other amazing leaders like Adriana Tortajada (1200vc) and Gabriela Castillo Gonzalo, whose insights on fundraising and the broader ecosystem were invaluable. The hosts Mili Gutierrez and Agustín Rotondo great job 🚀 ! From #AgriFood to #Fintech, from Private Equity insights to #venturecapital perspectives—the passion and shared vision of everyone present made it clear: Argentina is poised for an exciting new chapter. The Argentine Investment Forum 2024 has come to an end, and it's time to say thank you. It was incredible! More than 1000 investors, entrepreneurs and CEOs. The vibe, the inspiration, wow! It was a must. Thank you all for coming! Demian Reidel explained that the AI Plan that President Milei is talking with tech leaders is based on talent, energy and regulation, but also on the strong determination to reduce fiscal deficit. Daniel Rabinovich explained some incredible things MercadoLibre is doing with AI. World class investors like Jose Sosa del Valle, Ramiro Lauzan, Sebastian Loketek, & Horacio Reyser (moderation Suarez Lorena Andrea & Rodrigo Diaz Valdez), and then top PEs like Roberto Chute, Juan Sebastian Ron, Jeronimo Bosch, and Alejandro Sorgentini (moderation Mario Santarelli), explained the interest for this new era of Argentina, as a destination for global investors. Erich Acher (Monashees) was so generous sharing his journey of more than 20 years as a VC in Latam, witnessing the evolution of the Brasil & Argentina. The panel about AgriFood, Oil & Gas, Mining and Energy, with Mariano Bosch, Pablo Vera Pinto, Michael Meding, Daniel Ridelener, and Gustavo E. Castagnino, was mind blowing with the size of the opportunity Argentina has in its natural resources. Macro + Trust. In her fireside chat with Olivia Pando, Patricia Pomies explained her journey to become COO of Globant, with 30.000 employees in 35 countries. The panel with la "Bruja" Verón, Federico Lauria, & Mariano Zabaleta (moderation María Julia Bearzi), was incredible. Sports & Entertainment as sectors to invest in. Tokenization of players, Bizarrap, Nikki Nicole, Colapinto, and Gen Z! In the Fintech panel, with amazing entrepreneurs like Gaston Irigoyen, Tomas Mindlin & Daniela Espinosa (moderation Ignacio Plaza), they talked about how their financial infrastructure is helping financial inclusion 🙌 The Crypto panel with Borja Martel Seward Sebastian Serrano & Gabriel Gruber (moderation Hanna Schiuma) was pure Rock! The panel about Corporate Innovation, with Eduardo Elsztain, Federico Braun, Fabián Kon, Mariano Tamborini (moderation Gabriela Ruggeri), was a great endorsement. The LPs panel with Magdalena Coronel, Adriana Tortajada, Gabriela Castillo Gonzalo (moderation Matias Peire), gave great fundraising insights for the ARCAP funds. The VCS panel with Susana Garcia-Robles Joaquín Abal Rodrigo Baer Priscila Rodrigues (moderation Carlos Ramos de la Vega) had a great discussion about the ecosystem, and opportunities for investing in argentine founders. The grand finale was Guillermo Rauch, one the best entrepreneurs of its generation, in a conversation with Ariel Arrieta. It was awesome to have him back. We surprised him with his friend Matias Woloski crashing the panel. 2 amazing global founders on stage. So inspiring! Gracias totales!! Bullish es poco 😆 Vamos Argentina! 💪 🇦🇷
