For 35 years, the ‘Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner’ has been accompanying children fighting cancer and their families.
The foundation has three main missions:
- Help to improve the physical and psychological condition of the child and his family. Its multidisciplinary team offers an individual care from the diagnosis all the way to the remission, including assistance with the administrative and financial aspects, psycho-social support as well as educational, therapeutic and recreational activities. Three establishments are run by the foundation in order to offer the best possible access to this support: ‘La Maison des Enfants’ in Luxembourg hosting all activities and administrative assistance, ‘La Maison Losch’ in Brussels offering a temporary shelter for the parents whose children are being treated at one of the main cancer treatment Centers and finally ‘L’Appartement de Convalescence’ on the Belgian coast allowing the families to retreat and to recuperate in the immediate proximity to the sea.
- Raise awareness of childhood cancer and defend the children’s rights by participating actively in working groups or initiating meetings with decision-makers.
- Support actively onco-paediatric research by funding selected projects with one main goal: increase the cure rate and the quality of life for survivors.
The foundation is exclusively funded by donations and invests any available funds into their three missions. Every year, an external audit is done in order to guarantee total financial transparency. The Foundation is also founding member of 'Don en Confiance Luxembourg'.
What an amazing night! We’re incredibly grateful to Rotary Club Luxembourg-Hearts for hosting their 10th Anniversary Masquerade Charity Gala on October 19th. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, donated, and participated in the raffle and auction, €35,000 was raised to support our research into pediatric brain tumors.

⭐ A Mother's Story ⭐ Driving Our Mission to Support Pediatric Brain Cancer Research
Every parent dreams of watching their child grow up healthy, full of life, and free from harm. But for some families, life takes an unexpected and heartbreaking turn. Recently, we heard from one of these mothers, a brave woman who shared her emotional testimony about her child’s battle with brain cancer. Her story is one of resilience, heartache, and unwavering love, but it's also a powerful reminder of why the pediatric brain cancer research we support is so critical.
At 20 months old Julia’s baby daughter, Caroline, was diagnosed with brain cancer, one of the most devastating illnesses any family could face. Treatments are grueling, full of long hospital stays, difficult procedures, and moments of uncertainty. But thanks to the tireless efforts of doctors, researchers, and the support from organizations like Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner, they found hope in the darkest of times. Their story inspires all of us to keep pushing for breakthroughs and better treatments for children everywhere.
Together, we can stand up and give hope to parents and children fighting cancer. We can do our part to create a future where no parent has to endure the pain of hearing, “Your child has cancer.”

Nous souhaitons vous rencontrer, et dans la mesure du possible avec vos enfants, pour vous présenter :
- Nos activités passées
- Nos activités hebdomadaires
- Les séjours que nous allons réaliser
- Nos différentes interventions à domicile ou à l’hôpital
- L’activité physique adaptée
La soirée sera clôturée par un buffet froid, des boissons et des desserts.
