How to design a quiet #heatpump? The answer is quite simple: it is the combination of an internal compressor decoupling with elastic bearings of the device itself. The elastic bedding of the compressor unit is the key to reduce noise. 🌍 Celebrating the International Day of Sustainability with Getzner Under Sleeper Pads! At Getzner, we committed to advancing sustainable practices in railway engineering. Our polyurethane Under Sleeper Pads for example have a lifespan of decades and offer significant benefits for railway superstructures, also in terms of CO2 emissions. Our impact on sustainability is validated by independent studies. Notably, research conducted by TU Graz highlights these advantages. 🌟 Exciting Project Update: We are pleased to announce the completion of a major track renewal in Amiens, France! During the 2023-2024 period, SNCF Réseau undertook a comprehensive track renewal project in the Paris and Longueville tunnels, situated between the two Amiens stations. For this significant endeavor, Getzner was selected to provide Under Ballast Mats to ensure superior vibration isolation within the tunnels. This project highlights our ongoing efforts to engineer a quieter future and enhance the quality of rail travel. The charity run “Herzlauf Vorarlberg 2024” took place last weekend. Running enthusiasts from all over the region and beyond came together to support children with heart problems and their families. A team from Getzner Werkstoffe with a total of 13 athletes also took part in the event. Our aim was not only to support those who are unable to run themselves, but also to strengthen the team spirit and the joy of movement in our company. One thing is certain: Getzner always wins! ⚽ Once again this year, 12 teams from Getzner Textil and Getzner Werkstoffe competed against each other in the company's internal football tournament. With pleasant temperatures and sunshine, the atmosphere on and off the pitch was excellent. 🏆 A total of three teams from Getzner Werkstoffe took part and they managed to take the trophy home. But what really counts is the fun of the game and the team spirit within the entire Getzner Group. A big thanks to Getzner Textil for the excellent organisation of this event. And see you next year!
