The Health Innovation Summit by Health Hub Vienna left me feeling optimistic and empowered. Optimistic because there was not just talk about what isn't changing yet or what needs to change or how great we all are for all the change we are making - there were amazing and very clear articulated concepts and project that are already putting the patient and the health of our society in focus NOW. Not much "we should" and a lot "we are". Empowered because I got to meet people like Irene Fialka, Nina Eibl, Mehdi Khaled, MD, Liz O’Riordan and Nélia Pereira who are so passionate in making this world a healthier, smarter - and a more empathetic place. It gives hope to me as a patient, as a healthcare communication expert, as a human. Thank you for having me on stage and setting up this wonderful Event.
