Meanwhile, our ambitions in the U.S. are gaining traction with a strategic joint venture with The Georgetown Company which has acquired a 25% equity stake in Therme Group US. Supported by a €320 million funding package arranged by Deutsche Bank and secured from Macquarie Capital of Macquarie Group —one of the largest single-asset financings in the industry, in collaboration with BF.direkt AG, Alantra, K&L Gates, Rödl & Partner, PwC, and Slaughter and May. This transformative milestone establishes Therme Group as the world’s largest wellbeing infrastructure platform, uniting our roles as a global developer and owner-operator with a growing portfolio of destinations. With 1.9 million visitors expected in 2024, Therme Erding exemplifies the scale and impact of our vision.
