Hubert Apfelmaier is the new Managing Director of VTU Engineering Germany. Together with the current Managing Director, Dr. Thomas Richter, he will lead the German subsidiary of the international VTU Group. After completing his Master's degree in ‘Process Engineering for Industrial Environmental Protection’ at the University of Leoben in Austria, Hubert Apfelmaier began his professional career at VTU in 2003 as a project engineer for qualification and process technology in Kundl, Austria. Between 2005 and 2008, he was involved in a major project at the German VTU branch in Penzberg and took over its management in 2010. From 2017 to 2018, he was the interim manager of the newly founded branch in Neu-Ulm and was appointed Business Unit Manager for Southern Germany in 2018. Hubert Apfelmaier on his goals as Managing Director of VTU Engineering Germany: ‘Together with a strong team, I want to further strengthen VTU's market presence, drive forward the development of our core areas in order to offer our customers added value and continue to be a “great place to work” for our employees. #VTU #TomorrowToday
