Very much in line with RSK Australia's purpose "unlocking progress towards a resilient, future-ready Australia". SJA is a valued member of RSK Australia and it is great to see their contribution to the fantastic extension of the Sydney Metro #PlanningandProgramming #RSKGroup
At SJA, we have been fortunate to play a role in the development of Martin Place Metro Station, particularly with the construction programme for the underground and integrated station developments. Our primary focus has been on maintaining and statusing these complex schedules to ensure everything aligns with the project’s objectives. Working closely with Lendlease Construction Managers, Sydney Metro, and other key stakeholders has been a valuable part of our involvement. We strive to provide guidance and advice to help navigate the impacts of construction delays and programme slippages, doing our best to keep the project on track despite the challenges. We’ve also developed a strong understanding of Sydney Metro’s monthly reporting requirements. This includes tasks like creating the TP02 Work Breakdown Structure, performing float path analysis for separable portion milestones, and conducting interface workshops with MTR Corporation (Australia) and Linewide. Assisting the preparation of the monthly programme review presentations is another important aspect of our work, and we approach it with the goal of ensuring clear and accurate communication among all parties involved. Overall, we’re proud to have contributed to such a significant project and to support the successful development of Sydney Metro. As feasibility licences get issued for offshore wind farms in Australia, now is the time for greater engagement with the fishing industry which will lead to better outcomes for both parties. Brown & May Marine Ltd (an RSK Group company) has already been working with a number of the developers in Australia, bringing expertise gained in the UK and Europe over the last couple of decades.
