Get ready for even more plastic bans coming to WA. As of July 1st, 2025, bans will apply to packaging made from moulded, cut or shaped expanded foam. And remember, packaging manufactured from July 1 2024 will need to comply with the ban. The good news is that fibre packaging is a great replacement for polystyrene or plastic, providing great protection and being fully recyclable. So if you’re in need of more sustainable packaging, consider our range at Adarsh Fibre. Made of locally-sourced paper and cardboard, the packaging is protective, sustainable, and economical. Be prepared for the change by contacting our team today. #SustainablePackaging #PlasticBan #Packaging #Sustainability #AdarshFibre

It was great to show Good Sammy Enterprises and Alinea (Inc)'s Paraquad around our moulded fibre packaging facility. Always good to discuss how Adarsh Fibre can work closer with industry and non-profits to provide a local market for cardboard and wastepaper. We look forward to working with both teams further in the future. --- Thank you to everyone who came out along with Janelle Osenton for sharing the importance of our collaboration. And do keep Adarsh Fibre in mind for locally produced packaging, egg cartons, and medical consumables. #Sustainability #CircularEconomy #Recycling #Packaging #AdarshFibre

WA businesses, get ready for the next wave of plastic bans! Starting September 1, plastic takeaway containers and fruit/vege bags will be banned. This means you will have to switch to fibre alternatives like paper or sugarcane. Remember, you cannot supply banned stock from September 1, even if you purchased it before this date. Although this is a great win for sustainability in WA, there are some exemptions for certain use-cases. Learn more from the National Retail Association link in the comments. And remember, if you’re after WA-made egg cartons or product packaging, keep Adarsh Fibre in mind. #Packaging #WABusiness #Sustainability #PlasticBan #CircularEconomy #AdarshFibre

The recent endorsement by the United States federal government, of an ambitious plastics agenda highlights the critical role of federal government procurement in driving sustainable outcomes. By prioritizing reductions in virgin plastic production and increasing support for recycled materials, the government sets a strong example for industries to follow. This proactive approach not only fosters innovation but also accelerates the transition to a circular economy, which is essential for long-term environmental sustainability. It's encouraging to see such decisive action being taken to address plastic pollution and promote resource efficiency. https://lnkd.in/gNtXFrEx #circulareconomy #LocalProcurement #sustainability Department of Finance, Department of Health (WA Health), Department of Primary Industries & Regional Development, Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, Department of Water and Environmental Regulation, Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water , Department of Industry, Science and Resources, Tanya Plibersek Department of Treasury WA, CSIRO,

According to Eunomia Research & Consulting's Global Recycling Report, Australia ranks 18th in the world for the percentage of waste recycled. Wouldn't it be nice to have Australia in the top 10? To do this, we would need to increase our recycled waste percentage from 40% to 60% (and beyond). At Adarsh Fibre, we hope to making a difference. Was great to welcome the Hon. Matt Keogh MP, Hon. Ed Husic MP, and Hon. Klara Andric MLC to Adarsh Fibre's facility. During the visit, we discussed how we're helping stop WAs wastepaper from going to landfill. We hope the Ministers and Members had a great time and maybe learned a bit about manufacturing moulded fibre packaging. We're also happy to announce that our facility is up and running! Expect to see more photos soon. #AustralianManufacturing #EggCartons #Sustainability #Packaging #Recycling #AdarshFibre Department of Primary Industries & Regional Development Department of Industry, Science and Resources

Each year, #recycling helps to save more than 700 million tonnes of CO2 emissions. And by 2030, it will be over 1 billion tonnes! Yesterday was Global Recycling Day, a great day to recognise the importance of recycling in conserving essential resources and safeguarding the planet's future. When talking about the day, the President of Global Recycling Day, Ranjit Baxi, mentioned, “It is vital that everyone play their part, and recycling is an important element in the struggle against global warming. In past years, our Recycling Heroes have demonstrated that every individual and business, great or small, can have a positive impact.” This year's theme was Creative Innovation and, although recycling is far from the only important sustainability practice, we hope it encourages everyone to work towards a greener future.
