The future looks bright at Bankstown Airport, NSW’s number 1 general aviation (GA) airport! Essential GA activity, such as emergency services, is forecast for continued growth in coming years – supporting operators and communities across the State. We are meeting those growing needs, investing more than any other GA airport in Australia in new and upgraded facilities and infrastructure. This includes our Aviation Hangar Project to support up to 10 separate GA operations, Aviation Microsites Development Program to deliver multiple new aircraft hangars and the installation this month of a new Automatic Weather Information Broadcast system. Flying hope to families in need! 💛 An incredible act of kindness, Adrian and Ciara Ruane have donated a $1 million aircraft to Little Wings Ltd, helping provide free flights for sick children in regional NSW, ACT, and QLD. This aircraft, now in operation, is a lifeline for families needing urgent medical care. AMG is honoured to have Little Wings based at Bankstown Airport, where they continue their inspiring mission.
