  • With strong Polish roots, AMCS were delighted to be part of the 20th Polish Festival Fed Square on Sunday. Showcasing Polish culture, history, cuisine and art - we enjoyed the chatting to visitors in Polish and explaining our multicultural offering to clients. Kasia and Ewa are pictured here with two members of the Melbourne Polish Children's and Youth Choir who performed on stage.

  • Two weeks ago, we had the pleasure of hosting the Carers Spring Gathering—a wonderful day of joy and connection for 150 amazing carers. A special thank you to Rasika Gamage, our dedicated Carers Support Coordinator, Hulya Kazanaksu from Carers Victoria and Dr Medha Gunawardana, the Program Manager, for their hard work in making this day so memorable. We’re also grateful to Carers Victoria for partnering with us to bring this event to life. 💙 The day began with morning tea and a heartfelt welcome speech from Judith Abbott, CEO of Carers Victoria. Carers then enjoyed a lively Bollywood dance, a fun bingo session, and an awards presentation to honor their incredible efforts. Lunch was followed by a delicious dessert, and we wrapped up with karaoke and some energetic Arabic dancing! It was a day of celebration, connection, and well-deserved respite for our carers. Here’s to more moments like these!

Integrating the AI-driven Humanetix platform, AMCS enhances its service with real-time data insights and proactive care. • 9 October is Ageism Awareness Day - created by EveryAGE Counts to build community support for tackling ageism. Today was the final day of judging our Art Against Ageism competition and our five judges had the difficult task of selecting the top 12 from over 600 entries! Our competition was created to invite people to illustrate the beauty, diverse capabilities & mindset of senior people through artwork and thereby challenge the negative stereotypes of ageing. We take this opportunity to thank our generous sponsors: Elder Rights Advocacy LanguageLoop Carers Victoria Merri Health Pictured here are our judges (L-R) - Nicholas Colicchia, Maryanne Tadic, Emiliano Zucchi, and Leah Londsdale - outside our beautifully renovated Millennium House Community Centre where we held the judging. mary lyttle AM, one of our judges, is not pictured.
