Exciting news from our friends at Colemans Creative + Printing + Signage about their apprentice, Tommy Mavros. Tommy was recently honoured as one of the Top 50 Emerging Talents in the printing industry at the 2024 ProPrint Awards in Sydney. He is completing his Certificate III in Prepress Graphic Design. Since joining the team, Tommy has demonstrated exceptional dedication, creativity, and innovation. Starting as a first-year apprentice during COVID, he has consistently gone above and beyond—from meeting with clients one-on-one to seamlessly stepping into the production team when needed. “This recognition is an incredible achievement, particularly for someone from the Northern Territory to be acknowledged in such a competitive group.” “It’s a testament to Tommy’s hard work and the potential of talented individuals from our region to make waves nationally.” Tony Coleman said. Meet our Apprenticeships Mentor, Naomi Pedersen! 👋🏼 Naomi is based in Katherine and brings a wealth of experience to her role, having previously worked for the Australian Apprenticeship Support Network NT for several years. After three years in other roles, including Retail Manager and Small Business Champion for the Northern Territory Government, she has come full circle back into a role she loves. She is particularly passionate about expanding educational opportunities in the Big Rivers Region and remote areas. Naomi looks forward to reconnecting with apprentices, trainees and employers and providing quality mentoring and support services. Welcome to the apprentice life! Blake Glynn is studying a dual qualification with his new employer Total Project NT Pty Ltd. He recently commenced his Certificate III in Carpentry and is completing his Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade through RTO Charles Darwin University. Congratulations to Clayton Agnew who recently completed his Diploma of Aeroskills (Mechanical) from RTO - Aviation Australia. Our Alice Springs team is at it again! Jorja and Peter attended the Chamber of Commerce Northern Territory October Business Month - Business at Sunset last night and walked away with the gold....
