About us
The Association of Consulting Architects (ACA) is the key body representing architectural employers in Australia. The association leads the discussion on business matters in architecture in Australia. The ACA has branches in all states and its members cover the spectrum of practice – from sole practitioners to large practices – and include individuals, partnerships and companies. The ACA helps architectural businesses navigate the shifting territory of practice by providing regular advice and information on business issues, by promoting awareness of and discussion about business matters and by advocating for better business practices and legislative frameworks. Through its work the ACA helps to deliver long term health and viability for the architectural industry and, through that, maintain the important contribution the architectural profession makes to our cities, environments, communities and cultures. By providing leadership, support and advocacy on business and employment issues, the ACA assists practices to focus on making good architecture.
