At the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation (ARLF), we love seeing our alumni making an impact—and this past week, several of them have been recognised for their outstanding contributions! 🌟 Natasha Johnston OAM (ARLF alum & founder of Farm Angels, formerly Drought Angels) has been awarded an Order of Australia in this year’s Australia Day Honours. Since 2014, Natasha has provided vital support to drought-affected farmers, fostering hope and resilience in rural communities. Her leadership is an inspiration, and we couldn’t be prouder! 🌟 The late Bruce Simpson, an esteemed ARLF Fellow, was posthumously named Edward River Council’s 2025 Citizen of the Year for his four decades of service to Deniliquin, NSW. His legacy of courage and commitment continues through the Bruce Simpson Rural Scholarship Fund—a $2 million perpetual fund supporting future rural leaders through the ARLF. 👉 https://hubs.ly/Q034Dy8G0 🌟 Dr Mary Retallack, ARLF Fellow, was also recognised with an Active Citizenship Award from Adelaide Hills Council for her dedication to community service. These incredible leaders embody the ARLF’s mission to foster courageous, values-driven leadership in rural Australia. Their work strengthens and connects our communities, and we are honoured to celebrate their achievements. Join us in congratulating them! 🎉 #Leadership #CommunityImpact #AustraliaDayHonours #ARLFAlumni
