Across the Notes from the Field report by Learning Creates Australia which has just launched, some key questions emerge: What's working to develop authentic student agency over their learning and life so that they can articulate their capabilities and navigate complex options for their future with confidence? What tools and approaches are emerging to recognise complex capabilities in ways that work for different learners? How do we ensure this work leads to real change in how students access future learning and work opportunities? These questions, and the work they inspire, are at the heart of Notes from the Field. We were glad to be able to contribute some of the learning from our work at BECOME Education towards this research. This study, compiled in collaboration with Learning Creates Australia, reflects not just what’s working, but also the ongoing challenges we are still learning through.
