On Monday evening members of CESA’s Staff Formation Committee volunteered at one of Vinnies Fred’s Van sites, a mobile food service that provides meals, blankets, toiletries and most importantly, companionship, to the most vulnerable people in our community. The team served almost a hundred meals to people currently experiencing homelessness and hunger. Jill Gowdie, Director of Catholic Identity and Mission at CESA said, “It has been a truly humbling experience this evening, meeting people, providing them with a meal and listening to their stories. As an organisation we wanted to give something back, especially at this special time of Christmas.” Vinnies Fred’s Van has eight sites across Adelaide and one site each in Port Lincoln and Port Pirie. Raising Hearts and Minds We are excited to announce that Ciara James has been appointed to the position of Deputy Principal at Our Lady of Hope School, Greenwith commencing Term 1, 2025. Ciara is an experienced leader and is currently the Deputy Principal at Our Lady of La Vang School, Flinders Park, a position she has held since 2022.
