Last month, 110 of our crew from all over the world rocked up to Lancemore Mansion Hotel, ready for the 2024 edition of our annual conference. Prepped to learn, seek new perspectives and enjoy each other’s company. Oh, and dig into some good food and of course, Market Lane coffee! At Bellroy, our team is made up of smart people, with good intentions, who get shit done. Every staff member was encouraged to engage with our conference in the way that suited them. Newbies had the exciting opportunity to get to know everyone, remote staff made the most of that precious face-to-face time and we all gathered together with a strong shared purpose. Staff undertook a variety of learning sessions, from personal effectiveness to difficult conversations. And then had the chance for a boogie at our cocktail evening. Every year, we are reminded that our conference is integral to our culture, the growth of our people and the development of our business. 10/10 would recommend!

Inspire better ways to carry. Use business as a force for good. Help the world, and our crew, flourish.
About us
Bellroy puts its heart, soul and countless design hours into helping the world carry with greater simplicity and ease. Every piece has been deeply considered to help you get the best of life’s little moments. In the early 2000s, as slim tailoring became popular, bulky wallets couldn’t hide anymore. So, a team of product designers and creatives (who also happened to be friends) sat around a kitchen table in Bells Beach, Australia, to design a slim wallet with fewer layers of leather and better card positioning. The release of this product in 2010 signaled the birth of the Bellroy brand, and we’ve come a fair way since then... We recognized pretty early on that we could use business as a force for good. So, as a certified B Corp, we constantly pursue better ways to source our leathers, reduce our impact on the environment and make sure our products last as long as possible. Our range of carry goods has moved beyond pockets and includes solutions for your tech, work accessories and more – right down to the humble set of keys. Because as long as there are things to carry through our lives, we want to find better ways to store, protect and carry them. bellroy.com instagram.com/bellroy facebook.com/bellroy.official youtube.com/@bellroy_official tiktok.com/@bellroy_official pinterest.com/bellroy twitter.com/bellroy

With the new iPhone release fast approaching, on-the-go tech organization has been top of mind for us at Bellroy – so we were super excited for our Tech Kits (which Apple are calling Travel Organizers) to hit shelves in Apple stores worldwide. This fan-favorite not only keeps tools, cables, adapters and power banks neatly stowed for work or travel, its adaptability makes it a handy pouch for essentials such as medications, in-flight snacks, earbuds and more. It’s the kind of multi-use utility that our products are becoming known for. And we’re thrilled that Apple recognized it too! 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gpCUWQ7G

At Bellroy, travel is always on our mind. So it was only a matter of time before we created what our designer, JJ, describes as “our most travel-y travel pack” yet. In our lightweight fabric, with integrated packing cells, quick-access pockets and tuck-away backpack straps, we’ve created a bag that’s the ultimate carry-on or long-weekend companion. But why Lite? We’ve seen our everyday Lite styles pop up around the world already, we hear our customers tell us how important weight is in a travel bag, and we felt confident we had the right feature set for a carry-on bag, that would do what it needed to do but wouldn’t compromise that precious weight allowance. Our team loved the idea of a lightweight travel pack from its seed, and it just got better as the design process unfolded. It punches way above its weight. But we’ll let JJ show you why…

Bellroy co-founders Lina and Andy recently sat down for the latest conversation in their podcast series, What Have I Missed. For episode #8, they explore the evolving functional, personal and social roles of products in our lives. The brands, platforms and trends that have shifted the playing field. And how fostering a back-and-forth dialog between brand and audience encourages a more dynamic, interactive and fruitful relationship. Tune in to episode 8 here: https://lnkd.in/gQHivz2C And tell us what topics you’d love to see up for discussion.

Today is World Ocean Day. For a company founded and still operating out of Bells Beach Australia – and staffed by a bunch of surfers, beachgoers and bona fide ocean lovers – it’s a day to appreciate what the ocean means to us, and how we can best protect it. And, this World Ocean Day, we’re excited to announce a new fabric that incorporates recycled ocean waste! The three bags in our Laneway collection are made from our new durable Ocean Regen fabric, SeaWeave, which comprises 50% recycled fishing nets and 50% recycled post-industrial nylon.

Our Co-founder Andy sat down with Jonathan Simcoe recently to discuss inspiration, research, design process and more. Read on for the full conversation…
I'm pleased to share my latest Inside Design interview with Andy Fallshaw, founder of Bellroy. His answers elucidate both how they continue to design beautiful products and also how we can take a more thoughtful approach to craft in our work. Here is one my favorite quotes from the piece: "...very few backpacks can traverse most environments in a mostly ‘fit for purpose’ way. Our team summarised this goal as 90% awesome 90% of the time. The 90% and 90% lens was surprisingly clarifying for design decisions. We could identify the worlds we wanted to traverse, the functions that would perform in those worlds, the emotions we wanted to nurture and the places we needed to innovate in, and start prototyping with a clear vision of what success would look like." I hope you enjoy it as much as I did working with Andy and the Bellroy team. ※ https://lnkd.in/gDfz_iVB

We’re super excited that our Phone Case for iPhone 15 is now stocked in 1000+ Best Buy stores across the US. Being a growing global brand with no bricks-and-mortar stores means our retail partnerships are super important to get our products in front of customers in a tangible way. It also lets shoppers compare our products against our competitors side-by-side: a challenge we happily accept.
