We are still short of sanitary items and clothing for older children, particularly sizes 12, 14, and 16 (please note we do not accept adult clothing). WOW, we are speechless! A huge thank you to Nelson Alexander Real Estate Ascot Vale for donating the professional fees from a recent sale as part of Nelson Alexander Foundation Day to Big Group Hug. Their generous donation will purchase 66 cots and mattresses for infants to sleep safely in our community. We’re so grateful for Nelson Alexander's long-time support and the positive impact they are helping us create for local children in hardship.

We're looking for a part-time Warehouse Support and Admin superstar to help us manage stock, coordinate donations, support with various administration tasks, all to help families in need. Based at our Thomastown HQ, you’ll work with an amazing crew of volunteers to keep things running smoothly and make a real impact in our community. We want to say a huge thank you to Showgrounds Village for making a difference this Children's Week! They have chosen to support Big Group Hug by collecting toiletry donations for babies, children, and families in the local community. We want to share a big thank you to our friends at Share the Dignity for sending us a whole car boot-full of hygiene products! We so often run short of toiletry and hygiene products, which is heartbreaking. We all deserve the dignity that many of us often take for granted. For those facing homelessness, escaping domestic violence, or struggling through tough times, access to period supplies shouldn't be a worry. We're so grateful to know our boxes of love are will be stocked with these essentials, providing relief when it's needed most.
