Staying hydrated at the Buninyong pump track just got easier. 🚴♂️💧 A new Choose Tap water fountain has been installed as part of the track’s recent redevelopment by the City of Ballarat, ensuring cyclists and the community have easy access to fresh drinking water. For over 10 years, our Choose Tap partnership with the City of Ballarat has been delivering water fountains to recreation spaces—helping to keep our community healthy and hydrated. #ChooseTap #HealthyEnvironment #AdvancingOurRegion #HealthAndHydration

In partnership with Womens Health Grampians, we’re proud to have recently completed our first Men’s Initiative program. The Men’s Initiative is a primary prevention activity run by WHG to address whole of population underlying drivers of violence against women. A group of seven CHW men stepped forward to participate, completing a program of education and a deep dive into the topics related to gender-based violence, our participants decided to focus developing our action around the promotion of Healthy Masculinity in the Home, at Work and in our Community. We are pleased to share our Men’s Initiative journey and look forward to the opportunity to inspire others in the community to take action to end violence against women. Committee for Ballarat. Water is our most precious resource. It’s up to all of us to help preserve and protect it for generations to come. This World Water Day (March 22) let’s take a moment to appreciate our precious water resources and the small steps we can take to protect them. Simple actions like fixing leaks, using water wisely, and being mindful of our daily habits can make a big difference. It’s also a great time to refresh your Permanent Water Saving Rules knowledge. https://lnkd.in/g9tcXDxV #WorldWaterDay #CherishEveryDrop #MoreThanWater

Last week, we joined 120 business and community leaders at the Federation University Ballarat Showcase. Our General Manager of People, Culture & Safety, Alisha Bedggood, spoke on a guest panel, sharing insights into our experience with the Co-Operative University model. Last year, we welcomed two undergraduate students into our ICT & Digital division for paid placements. These students weren’t just observers—they became part of the team, gaining hands-on experience while contributing fresh perspectives, improving collaboration, and even helping to create new efficiencies. Co-op placements are an important part of our early careers approach, helping to build a strong talent pipeline for our region and the water sector more broadly. We look forward to welcoming our next co-op students soon! #EarlyCareers #FutureTalent #MoreThanWater
