🌟 Exciting Development: $2M Grant Approval for Ardmore Rock Phosphate Mine! Centrex Limited (ASX: CXM) is thrilled to announce that the Queensland Government’s Department of State Development and Infrastructure has conditionally approved funding of up to $2 million (GST exclusive) for the Ardmore Rock Phosphate Mine, wholly owned by Centrex’s subsidiary, Agriflex Pty Ltd. This funding, awarded under Round 1 of the Mount Isa Transition Fund (MITF), recognises Ardmore’s potential to deliver significant short-term economic and employment benefits to the Mount Isa region. The grant is expected to support the capital expenditure requirements for the ongoing Stage 1.5 Expansion at Ardmore. The final approval and binding contract are subject to Agriflex meeting certain conditions precedent and providing the necessary documentation. 🚢 A historic first for Australian phosphate exports! Centrex Limited (ASX:CXM) is pleased to announce its expansion into India, the world’s largest phosphate import market, with a scheduled shipment of ~25,000t set to load in late September. This shipment marks a major milestone as Australia’s first-ever phosphate export into India, highlighting Centrex’s growing international presence and competitiveness in the global market, driven by Ardmore’s increased production capacity. India imports 10mt of rock phosphate annually. Centrex’s strategic entry into India benefits from the Australia-India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA) which enables tariff-free exports. The move also aligns with the Federal Government’s India Economic Strategy, which recognises India’s growing importance as a trading partner for Australia. This shipment is especially significant as it marks a step towards the realisation of a long-standing dream held by many that the rich phosphate deposits within the Georgina Basin could one day supply the growing agricultural demands of Asia. Centrex Limited (ASX:CXM) is pleased to announce another successful shipment of 15,515t of beneficiated phosphate concentrate from Port of Townsville Limited. This shipment follows a record 26,502t shipment which also departed Townsville Port just 5 days prior. The next shipment of approximately 25,000t is expected to be loaded in late September, bringing total expected sales for Q3 CY2024 up to ~75,000t. Centrex continues to ramp up production at its wholly owned Ardmore Rock Phosphate Mine, which is currently undergoing its Stage 1.5 Expansion. Upon completion of the Stage 1.5 Expansion, Ardmore is expected to unlock an annualised production run-rate of 625ktpa of beneficiated phosphate concentrate. Increases in production capacity are expected to drive further operational efficiencies and enhance the Company's international competitiveness. Additionally, a further shipment of ~15,000t is expected to commence loading tomorrow. Centrex anticipates making larger and more frequent shipments throughout CY2024 and beyond, which is underpinned by the Company's significant stockpiles. Centrex Limited (ASX:CXM) is pleased to announce the grant of the new Queensland Exploration Permit for Minerals (‘EPM’) 28684 to its wholly-owned subsidiary, Agriflex Pty Ltd. The EPM is prospective for phosphate and is strategically located along strike and surrounding Incitec Pivot's Phosphate Hill Mining Lease ML 5543, which contains their main Phosphate Hill deposit and several other phosphate deposits. Agriflex Pty Ltd is currently mining and producing high-grade Phosphate at Ardmore, approximately 70km west of the new EPM. As such, Agriflex is actively exploring for additional phosphate mineral resources that could potentially support operations at Ardmore. Significantly, the Duchess Rail Line runs through the EPM, providing a potential logistics advantage for any development. Centrex Limited (ASX:CXM) is pleased to share an update regarding its MOU with Cleveland Bay Chemical Company. The MOU is exploring value-add processing opportunities for the Company's concentrate and tailings rock phosphate products. Technical findings to date have shown that a flow sheet utilising sulphuric acid, milk of lime and water was able to successfully produce a significant quantity of Dicalcium Phosphate ('DCP') as well as by-products such as Gypsum and Calcium Fluoride (and other salts). Notably, these commercial products have been produced by utilising the Company’s tailings product, Amplify. The utilisation of the Company’s tailings to produce commercial quantities of DCP and by-products has the potential to create an additional revenue stream for the Company.
