We are excited to share the completion of the Master Plan Concept Report for the Fremantle Oval Redevelopment Project, marking a key milestone in the City of Fremantle's efforts to revitalise and elevate this important community and recreational precinct.
Thanks to the collaboration of the City of Fremantle and our project partners - South Fremantle Football Club (SFFC), Fremantle Dockers (FFC), and the West Australian Football Commission (WAFC), we have crafted a cohesive vision for the future development and operation of this redevelopment. This Master Plan will also support the City in attracting funding from both State and Federal Governments.
Our project vision aligns closely with key State and Federal priorities, including promoting equality in sports, improving housing and health, and reducing emissions. Here’s how we plan to contribute to Fremantle’s economic growth:
Seamless Integration: Creating a vibrant, multi-use space that hosts a variety of events and activities for year-round enjoyment.
Catalyst for Investment: Driving economic diversification and attracting new investment to the precinct and surrounding areas.
Connectivity: Establishing a well-connected precinct that enhances and integrates with the surrounding urban environment.
Tourist Destination: Positioning Fremantle Oval as a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists.
New Standards: Setting a new benchmark for multipurpose sports venues in user experience and sustainable development.
Mixed-Use Housing: Providing essential housing options that address community needs.
We are excited about the journey ahead as we bring this transformative vision to life.
