📣 The Albanese government announced on 23 March 2025 that the energy rebate will be extended. From 1 July 2025, households will receive $150 in energy bill relief which would be paid quarterly until the end of 2025 📣 BUT... will it help? While any form of relief is welcome, Compare Club research showed that the previous energy rebate of $300 did little to alleviate the financial strain for households in the cost-of-living crisis. On a positive note, many Aussies don’t realise they could be eligible for various energy concessions which are state-based.
