Meet Sylvia - one of our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioners. Prior to working at Concentric, she was a Disability Support Worker mainly working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger's and Down-syndrome. She has lived experienced of family members with Autism and has seen first hand the positive effects of PBS had on her family. Sylvia is passionate about supporting clients through key transitions in their lives, such as moving from hospital to home or transitioning from one-on-one support to shared accommodation. Particularly with focuses on preparing clients for these changes while collaborating with stakeholders to build the necessary skills to help clients adjust successfully to their new environments.
