Qantas is gearing up to launch its ultra-long-range Airbus A350-1000 jets on trans-Tasman flights to New Zealand in early 2027, ahead of their long-haul debut as part of Project Sunrise. Australia's digital transformation of its border processes is advancing, with the Australia Travel Declaration (ATD) pilot program now extended to all international Qantas flights arriving at Brisbane Airport Corporation. This initiative allows eligible passengers to complete their incoming passenger details digitally via the Qantas App up to 72 hours before departure, streamlining the arrival experience. Each day of our CTM Leadership Conference and All Star Awards FY25 just kept getting better! Day 2 kicked off with dynamic development and planning sessions across our teams, setting the stage for growth and collaboration. Then, we swapped travel for lights, camera, action! 🎬 With the help of Be Challenged, our teams got creative, producing 90-second short films inspired by our values: Connect, Evolve, and Deliver. That evening, our competitive side came out as CTMers and suppliers joined forces for a trivia showdown hosted by Qantas… and let’s just say, the rivalry was fierce! Day 3 started with plenty of laughs as we watched the top short films, followed by insightful workshops covering sustainability, NDC, cybersecurity, and connection. The afternoon saw an impressive supplier expo, where our team reconnected with partners, tested their knowledge, and scored fantastic prizes. Then came the highlight of the event: the All Star Awards! Under the “Shoot for the Stars” theme, our teams went all out, with aliens, space cowboys, shooting stars, Star Wars characters, and more lighting up the night! 🚀 Congratulations to all our All Stars Finalists and Winners, we loved celebrating your incredible achievements! The conference wrapped up with a fabulous party at La Luna Beach Club, a perfect send-off to an unforgettable event.
