CRDC Global is a building materials innovator that transforms discarded plastics into RESIN8™, a disruptive line of high-performance aggregates, additives, and admixtures for concrete and asphalt.
Boasting an impressive 90% recycled content by volume, RESIN8™ repurposes discarded mixed plastic resins (1-7) into innovative Circular Economy construction materials that improve the performance, weight, and energy efficiency of structural and non-structural concrete products, and that extend the lifespan of asphalt pavements.
Founded in 2018, CRDC Global is the flagship commercial implementation of REAP (Recover - Enrich - Appreciate - Prosper), the regenerative Zero Waste business framework of the Center for Regenerative Design and Collaboration (CRDC) in Costa Rica. REAP was recognized as a People's Choice Finalist for the World Economic Forum Circularity Award in 2016.
Today, CRDC Global subsidiaries manufacture RESIN8™ at industrial scale in Costa Rica, the United States, South Africa, and Australia. Partnerships and licensing relationships are in development for 20+ additional locations throughout North America, Latin America, and Asia/Pacific.
The company's broad roster of waste management, construction, and international humanitarian partners include Habitat for Humanity, the United Nations Development Programme, and The Alliance to End Plastic Waste.
