About us
For a long time, customer service was something that was just expected, and determined by “the customer is always right.” It was unmeasurable, and its impact on the business overall was never really known. The Customer Service Institute of Australia (CSIA) changed all that – because we knew there was much more to it. Since 1997, we’ve been recognised as Australia’s peak customer service body. We think this is a great achievement, but our true measurement of success is how well we can help any person in any sector reach their full customer service potential. We developed the International Customer Service Standard certification program and in 2001, we introduced the Australian Service Excellence Award (ASEA) program, held annually to celebrate excellence in customer service delivery. Both of these programs support organisations, and take their customer service offering to the next level. This is done through improvements to design, delivery, quality and effectiveness of all aspects of customer service strategy, policies and systems. CSIA members include CEO's, business owners, government employees and customer service professionals. High quality customer service is universally regarded as an imperative for long-term business success. To enhance customer service in your organisation, join the CSIA.
