We're proud to support 17 Victorians in progressing their careers in sports media through the Change Our Game Women in Sports Media Program Advanced Round. The 2024/25 cohort includes recently retired Matildas goalkeeper Lydia Williams and Southside Flyers captain Rebecca Cole. Women remain under-represented in sports media in Victoria, with only 27% of sports news bylines found to be contributed by women journalists in 2023-24. The Change Our Game Women in Sports Media Program is designed to provide women who are interested in sports media the knowledge, skills and industry contacts to progress their career in this industry.
