NEW PARK IN MIDLAND COMING SOON! We have kicked off our 17-week construction program, working with local contractor Landscape Elements, to create a new park in the Railway Workshops Precinct. The 1,500sqm Water Tank Park adjoins the Helena River Reserve and will be enjoyed by the whole community. The idyllic spot is located on Watertank Way at the end of Main Gate and will enhance the green links to Helena River. When complete the park will feature the refurbishment of the Water Tank, repurposed materials, outdoor furniture including a shade structure with picnic settings, timber arbour structure and signage to share the history of the area. The Water Tank has been an iconic landmark in Midland since early 1900's and will be removed during construction for refurbishment and incorporated back into the park.
