Today is Global Recycling Day ♻ At eHealth NSW, we’re committed to making a difference - not just in healthcare but in how we care for our planet. To reduce waste and optimise resources, we’ve strengthened our e-waste collection and monitoring strategies. Through our device recycling program, 99% of assets are repurposed or sold, while the remaining 1% is carefully disassembled and recycled. Every recycled device reduces environmental impact and contributes to a more sustainable future for NSW Health. Swipe to see the difference we’ve made in the past six months 💚

🌏 Inspiring Visit to Sydney: Global Healthcare Innovation Last month, I had the privilege of meeting with the visionary leadership team behind NSW Health's Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) program. What struck me most was the bold vision and scale of their ambition - fundamentally transforming how healthcare is delivered across New South Wales (NSW). This initiative promises to enhance clinical decision-making, improve patient outcomes, and set new standards for digital health worldwide. Having worked with healthcare organizations globally, I can confidently say that NSW Health's approach is groundbreaking. As I shared with the team, AWS is committed to enabling our customers to be disruptive, to think in new and different ways, and - through their successes - to pave the way for other public sector organizations. What makes this project unique: 👉 Patient-centered care transformation at unprecedented scale 👉 Innovation in clinical workflows and care delivery 👉 Blueprint for healthcare systems worldwide It's incredibly exciting to see NSW Health pioneering this path. The SDPR program isn't just about technology - it's about transforming how people experience and deliver care in NSW Health, making life easier for patients, carers, and NSW Health staff. NSW Health is creating a model that healthcare organizations worldwide can learn from. I'm excited to see this partnership drive meaningful change in healthcare delivery. eHealth NSW continues to work closely with the Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority (SDPRIA) as the digital delivery partner to implement the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR). The SDPR is a transformational health program that will provide an integrated view of a patient’s care within the NSW Health system. It will change how people experience and deliver care in NSW Health, making life easier for patients, carers and NSW Health staff. The transformational program will be rolled out across the state in early 2026. A key requirement for its success is consolidating several encoder systems currently used in local health districts and specialty networks. Recently, eHealth NSW in partnership with the SDPRIA, Epic and Solventum built a new server that will enable the integration of the consolidated statewide encoder, used for medical record coding. “This is a significant step forward in making our systems more seamless and easier to use for staff and clinicians, ultimately giving them more time to focus on patient care.” Richard Taggart Chief Executive of eHealth NSW said. This Saturday, 8 March, we’re celebrating International Women’s Day (IWD) by recognising the incredible women who shape our organisation and reaffirming our commitment to gender equality at eHealth NSW. Women currently make up 43.34% of our workforce and hold 32.67% of senior leadership positions. While we’ve made progress, we’re striving for a 50% representation in leadership, creating a more balanced and inclusive workplace for all. This year’s United Nations theme, March Forward: For ALL Women and Girls, challenges us to take bold action to unlock equal rights, power, and opportunities for women everywhere. To mark IWD, we asked our staff to share what Marching Forward means to them - and why this day matters ❤️ Explore more: https://bit.ly/3F9T1Sn #IWD2025
