🎉 Another awesome Climate Action Week Sydney in the books! We teamed up with our amazing alumni & partners across 9 events over the last 5 days to deliver on some truly integral climate tech topics ⬇️ 1️⃣ 🗓️ On Monday morning, EnergyLab hosted our friends StartSomeGood for their ‘Impact Investing for the Rest of Us’ panel with Caitlyn Touzell, Tom Dawkins, Dr Dimity Podger and 🍇 Kirstin Hunter. Then in the afternoon, our CEO & Director Megan Fisher moderated the 'Connect @ Tech Central: Achieving Net Zero' panel at The Collider with Dr Jehan Kanga from Rux Energy, Meg McDonald from the NSW Net Zero Commission and Wendel Hortop from Modo Energy. 2️⃣ 🗓️ Tuesday was a MASSIVE day, kicking off at Salesforce Tower with the 'Climate & AI Summit' where Megan presented on the panel alongside Judy Slatyer from WWF-Australia, Nishi V. V from NEXTDC and Joe Delaney from Salesforce. EnergyLab also had a stand at Impact X and Megan somehow had time to appear on another panel at that conference before joining Samantha J. Wood, Danny Kennedy, Paul Howdle, Antonia (Tia) Collings and Tom Loefler at our final event for Tuesday, ‘More than Money: Unlocking the Full Potential of Climate Tech Support Programs’. 3️⃣ 🗓️ On Wednesday evening, Samantha presented at the ‘Climate Investor Reverse Pitch - Shut Up and Take My Money!’ on behalf of EnergyLab alongside Climatalist, Future Super, Trailblazer for Recycling and Clean Energy (TRaCE), Investible and I2N at The University of Newcastle which was a fantastic sold out event! 4️⃣ 🗓️ Thursday saw our partner and co-working member Kirk McDonald from New Energy Nexus hosting the ‘Accelerating the Transition to Electric Vehicles: Breaking Barriers and Driving Change’ panel at Hub Hyde Park with Michael Day, Sarah Aubrey, Brendan Joe Doyle and Julie Perrissel. That evening, Samantha moderated the ‘Watt's Next? Powering your Climate Careers’ panel at Greenhouse with Alexander Horton, Sam Bricknell, Lucy N. and Cathy Anderson. 5️⃣ 🗓️ This brings us to our final event today, the ‘Clean Technology Innovation Showcase’ at 12-Micron where Megan presented on her final panel for the week (massive effort this week Megan!) supported by the NSW Government. Huge week is an understatement! Thank you so much to our entire community and the broader climate tech ecosystem for all your efforts this week and, of course the entire Climate Action Sydney team, keep it up! Special thank you to Create NSW for providing your awesome theatre space to us as well :) #energylab #climateactionweek #climatetech #sustainability
