Epic Energy is proud to support the Mannum community with a major contribution toward upgrading the lighting at the Mannum Oval Complex and Showground. The upgrade will replace outdated light towers that have hindered the oval’s use in recent years, allowing for night games and community events while creating long-term benefits for the town. As part of our ongoing commitment to the regions we operate in, this initiative aligns with our investment in the Mannum Energy Park, which includes two solar farms and a 100MW battery currently under construction. We're excited to contribute to both a sustainable energy future and the local community’s growth. Epic Energy is proud to have been the first business in #southaustralia to partner with Jigsaw Australia. Since 2022 we have supported Jigsaw in their mission to train and upskill people with disability to enable them to successfully transition into award wage employment. Today we were thrilled to visit the Jigsaw team in their #adelaide CBD office, and to meet some wonderful and enthusiastic participants, some who were working on Epic Energy documents while we were there. Thanks to Tim Hayes and Sarah (BERGER) Cunningham for the invitation to visit and see the positive difference Jigsaw Australia is making in our #community.

Epic Energy is continuing to invest in a broad portfolio of energy infrastructure with the announcement of the acquisition of a 100MW/200MWh battery energy storage project from Recurrent Energy at Mannum in South Australia. This marks the third project Epic Energy has acquired from Recurrent Energy at its Mannum site. The project will see the installation of 200MWh of energy storage at Mannum located adjacent to Epic Energy’s existing solar farms and will be delivered by e-STORAGE, a subsidiary of Canadian Solar. Epic Energy is thrilled to be continuing to support South Australia’s energy market transition. #epicenergy #recurrentenergy #energyinfrastructure #renewables #energystorage https://lnkd.in/gstvZM-h

We were thrilled to participate in the first regional-wide industry briefing in the City of Whyalla, hosted by the Office of Hydrogen Power South Australia with support of Tactic. The beginning of an exciting chapter in shaping the future of #hydrogen #renewableenergy in regional #southaustralia. https://lnkd.in/g25Uk865
Yesterday, we held our first regional-wide industry briefing in Whyalla, engaging early with more than 200 attendees from the local industry supply chain and businesses across the Upper Spencer Gulf. With the support of Tactic, we facilitated connections, linking local suppliers directly with our preferred project partners—ATCO Australia, BOC South Pacific, and Epic Energy who have committed to Early Contractor Involvement for the Hydrogen Jobs Plan delivery. Proud to share that the Industry Capability Network South Australia played a vital role, managing all registrations of interest via the ICN Gateway Portal. For ways to get involved, please visit this link: https://lnkd.in/gTgfjusN The support of this event highlights the collective commitment to shaping the future of the renewable hydrogen industry in Whyalla. Thanks to all who joined us - we will be holding a second industry briefing early 2024 – join our mailing list via our website to stay informed. #HydrogenJobsPlan #IndustryBriefing #HydrogenSouthAustralia #renewablehydrogen #greenhydrogen City of Whyalla

This week we proudly unveiled our indigenous artwork in our office, on Kaurna land. Titled "A Sustainable Synergy", this artwork, created by NAIDOC #southaustralia 2022 Artist of the Year, Lawson Dodd, of Kaurna, Narungga, and Ngarrindjeri heritage, was commissioned by Epic Energy. It is a digital vector artwork, measuring nearly 8 metres in length and 1 metre in height, and skillfully merges traditional First Nations elements with contemporary colours and media to tell a story of innovation, sustainability, and community engagement at Epic Energy. The background features various shapes and textures, representing the diverse climate and terrain where Epic Energy operates. Large circular shapes, traditionally symbolising meeting places, depict diverse communities. Surrounding arch-like symbols represent Epic Energy tea members engaging in sustainable practices. These communities are connected through journey lines, symbolising the strong relationship between Epic Energy and its clients. Rippling lines at the edges signify the depth of experience and history within Epic Energy. Kangaroo tracks are subtly woven throughout, reinforcing the strong connection to land and country. Together, these elements demonstrate Epic Energy's commitment to sustainable energy practices and harmonious coexistence with the environment. We are so thankful to Lawson for capturing not only Epic's strong heritage in #southaustralia , but also our future, as we continue our growth in #renewableenergy and our #reconciliation journey.
