On Friday 16 August, 54 Year 10 - 12 students from Camperdown College, Cobden Technical School, Derrinallum College, Hampden Specialist School and Timboon P-12 College, had the opportunity to explore future career options at the NPL Energy Industry Day in Port Campbell. Sponsored by Beach Energy Ltd, the event connected students with industry professionals showcasing their roles and career paths. The students heard from tradespeople, engineers, technicians, managers, and engagement specialists from three local operators. A panel of Beach employees shared their career experiences and answered students' questions about their professions and the industry. Following the presentations, students toured one of the three Energy Plants; Beach Energy, Cooper Energy and Lochard Energy. While there, they participated in hands-on activities, and learned about the plant’s operations and the diverse roles needed to keep it running. The Energy Industry Day was a fantastic opportunity for students to gain insight into local job possibilities and pathways into chosen fields. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the days’ success! #communityforcareers

We're proud to support the work of the Earbus Foundation of Western Australia in their mission to bring vital ear health services to communities across the state. Hearing health is critical to the wellbeing and future success of children, and the impact of the Earbus team cannot be overstated. Their dedication to ensuring that every child has the chance to "Hear Today, Shine Tomorrow" aligns with our values at Beach Energy, where we strive to make a positive difference in the communities where we live and work.   Check out the amazing work they're doing and how you can get involved! #CommunityImpact #HealthMatters

Earbus Foundation is proud to support students at Karalundi College in their journey to better hearing health, thanks to a multi-year partnership with Beach Energy Ltd. Hearing health is crucial for educational success. This initiative ensures that young people at Karalundi College receive the vital ear care they need. With regular screenings, treatments and follow-ups, we're helping to remove barriers to learning so students can reach their full potential. Beach Energy’s commitment is bolstered by support from a private family foundation. Together, we're making a real difference in the lives of young people in remote and regional communities, ensuring they have the best chance to thrive in school and beyond. #earbus #heartoday #shinetomorrow #hearinghealth #partnerships #closethegap

Last week was a very productive Corporate Volunteering week with three group volunteering sessions! It started with Beach Energy Ltd volunteering at Foodbank SA & NT Distribution Centre and food warehouse. While at Foodbank SA & NT’s warehouse in Pooraka, Beach Energy volunteers packed over 30 produce pallet bins with potatoes and onions, along with oranges and carrots. These pallet bins are then transported to the Edwardstown Distribution Centre, which is where the Beach Energy volunteers helped pack the fruit and vegetables into small bags for the food hubs. Through Foodbank SA & NT’s food hubs and other food relief program, Foodbank SA & NT supports over 135,000 South Australians and 15,000 Territorians with one third of these being children. The community support continued Friday with staff from BAE Systems Australia getting to know about @treasureboxesinc and the vital support they provide to babies, children, and teens living in disadvantage. The BAE Systems volunteers had the huge task of sorting through cots full of clothing donations, plus packing some Toy Treasure Boxes. If your staff would like to experience the benefits of group volunteering and assist your community, please contact VSA&NT - ☎️ 08 8221 7177 and press 3 or 💌 corporatevolunteering@vsant.org.au #SAvolunteer #corporatevolunteering #beachenergylimited #foodbanksa #BAESystemsAustralia #treasureboxes #communitysupport #makeityourbusinesstovolunteer

At Beach Energy we strive to build positive, long term, trusting relationships with Indigenous communities throughout our areas of operations. Last week, we acknowledged NAIDOC Week with this year's theme: "Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud & Proud." Our teams in Adelaide (Tarndanya) and Melbourne (Naarm) participated in walking tours to deepen our understanding of First Nations heritage, culture, and their connection to Country. Thoughts from some of our team members who participated: “We gained valuable insights into the long history of the land's use before the Botanical Gardens were established.” “I learned about history I never knew. It’s a reminder of the importance of taking the time to learn our full history and respecting our rich cultural heritage.” #NAIDOC2024 #KeepTheFireBurning
