On the auspicious date of 8 August 2024, I was elated to deliver my annual flagship event - the Asian Leadership Project Summit in Melbourne and hybrid for the first time 🙌🏼 A year ago, I began curating this program gathering thought and practice leaders from my trusted network to inspire, educate, engage and advocate on how to increase intersectional cultural diverse leadership and address the Bamboo Ceiling in Australia. Complex, sophisticated and practical themes feature ever year with universal application and learnings tailored especially for my Corporate Members as a collective. “Espirit de corps”… a feeling of pride and mutual loyalty shared by the members of a group. This is how Hon Julia Gillard described the room as she looked out from the stage at dinner. It was a great privilege to host all of you who attended the Climate Investor Forum this week. It was indeed a special gathering of leaders and learners from across the climate investing, innovation and corporate transformational landscape.  What made Wednesday so special, in addition to the incredible line-up of speakers (who were exceptional), the support from our amazing sponsors (as the event would not be possible without them) or the impactful climate solutions presenting and exhibiting (impressive and game changing), it was of course all of YOU. Everyone who attended adopted the spirit of being there to connect, to build relationships and partnerships, to be present and of course to have fun doing it. The energy in the room was electric and the impacts of those connections will have a ripple effect on the climate investing ecosystem for years to come. And you were there at the MCG on 20 March, 2024 when it all happened. We thank you for it!    A very special heartfelt thanks to my amazing colleagues Michele Hartz and Charlotte Connell for the dedication, professionalism and humour they brought every day in putting this endeavour together.
