#FetchTV was on the international stage again last week at #APOS in Bali. Our CEO Dominic Arena was on a panel discussing the Future of Video Aggregation, and our Chief Content and Commercial Officer Sam Hall participated in a discussion about FAST channels and advertising. Thank you to Vivek Couto and the team at #MediaPartnersAsia for the opportunity to interact with our global industry colleagues on these (and many other) topics over the APOS week. It's always great to get together at APOS and explore the latest developments in entertainment and tech.

"Content is King" is a phrase that most people working in media and entertainment have heard so many times that it's well beyond a cliche. Yet we all continue to use it because, no matter how overused or unoriginal it sounds, we know that it remains the truth at the heart of what we do. So with that in mind, today we are excited to announce the addition of DAZN to our app line up, bringing Fetch customers access to some truly royal international sports content. DAZN (pronounced Da Zone) is the world’s leading sports entertainment platform, offering a huge range of sports content through a range of flexible and accessible price plans. It's available now on Fetch Mini G5, and coming soon to Mini 4K and Mighty.   DAZN pay per view events include an amazing roster of top-quality boxing matches – including September’s PPV mega-events, Anthony Joshua v Daniel Dubois and Canelo Álvarez v Edgar Berlanga.   Plus there's subscription access to MMA, FIBA Basketball, Padel, Motorsport, Ironman, and a host of other high-octane sports and sports entertainment content. Subscriptions start at $13.99 per month for a 12-month subscription, $21.99 for a monthly pass, and $139.99 per year for the Annual Super Saver.   DAZN is also the exclusive home of NFL Game Pass showing every NFL matchup live throughout the regular and post seasons, including the world’s largest annual sporting event, the Super Bowl. Fetch customers can buy NFL Game Pass as a standalone package or as an add-on to a DAZN subscription for $28.99 / wk for the Weekly Pro, or $279.99 for the Season Pro.   Fetch now offers over 100 channels (FTA, FAST and premium subscription), 23 streaming apps, 20 on demand channel apps, a movie store with over 11,000 titles to buy and rent including the latest releases, and a TV store with hundreds of shows. So if content is king, that definitely makes Fetch a pretty fancy palace. Fetch TV DAZN

One of the core tenets at Fetch is that "we only succeed when our partners succeed", and we're here to support them in any way we can. So this week we've been supporting Telstra as a sponsor of the Frontline 2024 conference. It's been a fantastic opportunity to engage with the leaders and teams that sell and support Fetch across Telstra. You simply can't beat feedback direct from the people who are interacting with customers everyday. The great thing is that it's also been loads of fun. #Fetch #Telstra #Frontline Dominic Arena Gigi Engström Elissa Ryan Fetch TV

Fetch TV introduces the world’s first hybrid RDK-Android Opensource operating system with the new Fetch Mini G5 Fetch TV today announced that it has commercially released a revolutionary and world first hybrid RDK-Android Opensource operating system in the latest Fetch Mini G5 device, positioning Fetch as the leading Australian home entertainment platform provider for both operators and consumers. The development is the first platform implementation of the innovative AndApps™ solution from Consult Red, and enables Fetch to easily add Android apps into the RDK ecosystem to enhance the content choice, value and user experience for Fetch customers, whilst maintaining the operator benefits of data security, UX monetisation and transaction management. Currently available with the new Fetch Mini G5, the AndApps™ functionality will be added to existing Mighty and Mini 4K devices later this year, cementing the core Fetch proposition as “The way to watch” TV channels, shows, movies and streaming; and paving the way for future product enhancements including games, lifestyle and AI-powered smart home applications. Dominic Arena, Fetch CEO, said “We have invested heavily over the past year to pioneer this revolutionary hybrid technology together with our software integration partner, Consult Red, to enable us to deliver an unmatched suite of family-friendly entertainment and lifestyle options all in one place, on Fetch. We’ve upped the game in the Australian home entertainment market where no one today matches the Fetch platform’s breadth of features, capabilities and options for family households at such an affordable price.” The new Mini G5 is the smallest, most powerful, feature rich, and best value Fetch device to date. Measuring just 10cm square, this 4K device includes 4GB of RAM, 21.8K DMIPs processor speed, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, a USB accessory port, and a free-to-air tuner, with an RRP of $149. In addition to FTA channels and apps, premium subscription channels, FAST channels, and all the market leading streaming apps, Fetch users also have access to a Movie Store with over 11,000 titles to buy or rent. Viewers using the Mini G5 can also use the Fetch’s 7-day Reverse TV Guide to access shows they may have missed, and can even connect multiple pairs of Bluetooth headphones for silent viewing and enhanced individual enjoyment of TV, Movies and Music on Fetch. The Mini G5 is available now from Telstra, iiNet, JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman and The Good Guys.
