Ever wondered how you and your business could leverage what you already do for a good cause? At Forever Projects, we love partnering with people and orgs like Atlassian, who have created the systems and processes to facilitate this coming to life for their teams and non-profits like Forever Projects. The foundation to successful partnerships like this are empathy and listening. We start by asking "What's in your hands?". Then we listen to the answers... which could be one or more.... ⏰ Your time? 🎁 Your talent? 💰Your money? 🌎Your network? Legends like Cecille MAQUITO and Kirill Duplyakin are great examples of this, guiding our team with a website migration. ⏰+🎁 By giving their time and talents as software engineering superpowers, Forever Projects was able to ship this project at zero additional cost to our team. James Clear famously said: "You don't rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems." Thanks Lauren Black Steve King Mark Reading Dominic Price Scott Farquhar Mike Cannon-Brookes and others at Atlassian for creating the systems where your team can use their time like this. And for inviting other orgs to do the same via yet another system.. Pledge 1%! Kali Norman.. thanks for the important work you and the team do here 🙏 #impact #purpose #doinggoodfeelsgood #generosity #investinwomen

Tackling the orphan crisis by supporting Tanzanian women to fight poverty.
About us
We believe no woman should be separated from her child because of poverty. Our comprehensive, locally driven model guides Tanzanian women on a year-long journey from poverty to independence. This program mitigates malnourishment, avoids child abandonment, and eliminates infant mortality, enabling families to remain together and thrive. We see mothers/grandparents/aunts/fathers move their families out of poverty, grow a business, increase their quality of life, put good food on the table, and support their children through school. They find dignity and status in society via a hand-up (not a hand-out). It's not another story where the problem is too overwhelming to make any difference. Rather, person by person, family by family, we can partner together and transform lives. And in our experience, we're transformed in the process too. Join us.

✨ When we contribute to the transformation of others, we’re transformed in the process too ✨ This is the fundamental belief that sits at the heart of our #wyk24 campaign, which officially wrapped up yesterday! (don't worry... our #wyk24 platform remains open with a number of our teams and participants starting / continuing challenges in November!) Madeleine Kulakauskas from HPX Group says it better than we ever could, and the language she put to her experience midway through her challenge reflects what we're hearing right across our amazing community as they've moved with purpose in October. 🏔 173 participants challenging themselves, across 🏔 33 teams and 10 organisations 🏔 $58,636 raised! 💥 Watch this space for some matching donations over the coming week 💥 We can't wait to connect our participants, teams, orgs and generous supporters with the impact this will make an ocean away... 💙 Income creation for women, 💚 Nutrition for their babies 💛 Families together, forever 🖤 Each $1,200 raised makes this possible for another family 💯 Every cent raised reaches Tanzania thanks to our 100% model 🇹🇿 #community #purpose #impact #investinwomen

🏔 Tom Gibson, who works with our partners at HPX Group, decided he’d run the entire 62km hiking distance of Mt Kilimanjaro…. in one day! 🏔 “Last weekend I completed the What's Your Kilimanjaro Challenge, running 62kms from La Perouse to Palm Beach, raising $1,650 for Forever Projects in the process.$1,200 is all it takes for a Tanzanian woman to participate in Forever Project's 12-month program, that provides vital nutrition to babies, empowers women to create their own business and income, and keeps families together!” We LOVED getting a glimpse into Tom’s challenge day (and we’re a little in awe of how calmly he’s speaking the whole time while running!) Seeing Tom’s family running and riding beside him, together with cheers from friends along the way and the generous support by his network via donations, is a beautiful example of the joy that comes from moving with purpose for something bigger us… that Collective Effervescence we’re all feeling throughout October. We loved hearing the way Georgia Phillips and the JSHealth Vitamins team are moving with purpose in the context of mental health month! It's always super encouraging for our team and community to see the way leaders like Georgia are connecting #wyk24 with what they already do as a team, raising awareness and funds for our mission, and also contributing towards their objectives in a value-aligned way! Thanks to Georgia and the JSHealth Vitamins team, the power of one more Tanzanian woman has been activated to create lasting change for her whole family. ✨ Income creation for women. ✨ Nutrition for their babies. ✨ Families together, forever. Separately, thanks so much to our friends at Vouch for enabling legends like Georgia to share their experience during our #wyk24 campaign! Love your work Gary Zurnamer, Jade Mackenzie and team! #purpose #wellbeing #community #connection #impact #investinwomen

It’s more important than ever to be able to attract and retain top-tier talent who can move our missions forward. But it’s not nearly as simple as throwing money at people. So what does it take to build an aspirational employer brand? What are the magnetic forces that pull great people into our organisational orbit, or potentially push them away? As founders and leaders, we have way more control over these levers than we may think, and we’re excited to gather our Forever Projects community to explore this important theme... ‘Building an Aspirational Employer Brand’ 🌏 Canva Space, Surry Hills 📅 Thurs 14 November 6-9pm 🔗 https://lu.ma/usyrepfq We'll be joined by another stellar lineup of kind and capable humans! ⭐ Charlotte Anderson (Head of People Experience Canva) ⭐ Adam Jacobs (Co-Founder Hatch, Co-Founder THE ICONIC) ⭐ Rhonda Allen (Chief People Officer HPX Group) ⭐ Jade Mackenzie MacKenzie (Head of Customer Success Vouch) Our discussion will be facilitated by Ian Gardiner, (Investment Partner at Jelix Ventures & Co-Founder at Innovation Bay), and your MCs on the evening will be Carrie Ball from Rippling and our Founder, Mark Dombkins. We also have some special guests from our Forever Projects community who'll be joining us on the night too... can't wait to hear from Laura Hamod Barnes and Tom Gibson to name a few ✨ Many thanks to our event partners Canva, HPX Group, Corrivium, Heaps Normal, Yaala Sparkling & Jelix Ventures. Complimentary canapes and non-alcoholic drinks will be served at the event. "I am joining my team at Connected to use what's in our hands to help others." - Christie Wade We LOVE the way our community have taken this mantra "What's in your hands?" to leverage what they have (time, treasure, talent, trust) as a force for good. At 8am this morning, their team started a 62km relay down the Illawarra Coastline, finishing in Thirroul to celebrate their collective impact...and a well deserved 🍻 We find such inspiration in reading WHY teams like Connected Media Group are joining... hearing about that joy that comes from moving together in community for a cause bigger than yourself... ⭐ Laura Hamod Barnes "By donating and raising funds, we're giving mums the opportunity to learn essential skills, allowing them to provide for their families and create a brighter future for their children. Every dollar raised makes a real impact, helping families not just survive, but thrive." ⭐ Laura Cross "WYK challenge is always an amazing time that brings us together with the common goal of helping someone to empower their life. I’m excited to do my part!" ⭐ Chloe Jovanoska "I want to challenge myself to make a difference and help women break the cycle of poverty." ⭐ Todd Leussink "I want to help make a difference" ⭐ Jan Lisondra "To help create change, even in the simplest way." ⭐ Sonia Strano "I want to support the women in Tanzania to help break the cycle of poverty and a help them achieve an independent future." ⭐ Meg Ford "Our team Connected Media Group are helping women break the cycle of poverty!" ⭐ Marie Dalphin "The more we can raise the higher the impact we can make!" ⭐ Taylor Hadlow "I am ready to challenge myself to help raise money for others who challenge everyday." ⭐ Nicole Smith "Raising money for Forever Projects to break the cycle of women's poverty!" ⭐ Faye Ansis-Hechanova "it’s a simple way to give back and make a positive impact. “I want to give every person the best chance to be happy in life, and starting from their birth is the best place.” - Hamish Geddes We can't keep up with the number of HPX Group What's Your Kilimanjaro participants and inspiring motivations like this from Hamish at Hamilton Locke Newcastle. Their team is using #wyk24 to move with purpose and we loved this quote from them: "We have a lot of new faces in our team and it’s a good opportunity to have some time away from the office where people can get to know each other, while acting for change." Thanks to everyone at HPX Group, Hamilton Locke and Source for not just talking about PX (people experience) but leading with it in action. By the time this post goes live, they'll probably have passed $10K raised across the whole organisation 🎉 We believe the best partnerships have a foundation of shared values, and we're delighted by the shared value our collaboration has already ignited in 2024. Get inspired by these fantastic humans who've signed up to participate since our last HPX shoutout (click-through the carousel). And with one-third of October still to come, it's nowhere near too late to join them! “I’m in the early stages of building my own business, and being surrounded by people who shared so vulnerably about their journey was truly outstanding.” This beautiful quote from one of our community members perfectly sums up the collective effervescence we experienced together. As Paz Pisarski says, community and audience are NOT the same. Community members support one another on a regular basis ✨ Laura Henshaw shared a powerful story of a woman who, thanks to the joy and confidence she felt from the Kic community, made the courageous decision to leave an abusive relationship. This is the power of community, and it's certainly at the heart of our work in Tanzania as we witness powerful stories of women moving from isolation to connection... from despair to hope. Learn more about our 12-month program built for women here > https://lnkd.in/gFmF5mTP Thanks again to everyone who showed up with that supportive posture on the night, from panelists like Laura, Paz Matt Vitale, Shae Bolton Brown, Steph Claire Smith, our facilitator Jane S. Martino, MCs Frances Goh from One Roof and our very own Mark Dombkins, and special thanks to our partners Matt Hale GAICD and Rising Tide Financial, Irene Tsang from LIFTwomen® Group, Tobi Skovron, Shardae M and the team at CreativeCubes.Co, and 🧠 Andy Miller (米乐), Matt O'Brien and the legends at Heaps Normal.
