This fully-funded four-year PhD position focuses on developing hydrogels with dynamic mechanical properties for 3D in vitro cell models, aiming to improve non-animal models for drug discovery and advanced therapies. This is your chance to contribute to cutting-edge research that replicates physiological processes while gaining industry experience with Australia's national science agency, CSIRO. Ideal candidates should have a background in chemistry, biomedical, or chemical engineering (MSc or BSc with Honours) and wet-lab experience is highly desirable.
