With continual audience declines across traditional channels; the rise of multi-screen media consumption; and further fragmentation into digital and social channels – it’s no surprise that Out of Home is increasing its importance for brands to reach and hold the attention of audiences. We’re unlocking more opportunities for brands to connect with commuters in WA, with our new large format, double-sided billboard on Ocean Reef Road in Wangara, in Perth’s northern suburbs. This latest addition, together with our street furniture partnership with the City of Wanneroo, delivers an audience reach of over 91%. Chris Eyres, Sales Director WA said: “This new site in the City of Wanneroo marks an important step in our continued expansion in Western Australia. The combination of digital and classic formats provides unparalleled flexibility for advertisers to engage commuters traveling in both directions.”

Telstra's latest Wherever We Go campaign showcases the power of large format billboards, including a striking 2D extension special build. This approach perfectly aligns with the principles outlined by Analytic Partners, showing that billboards are 11% more effective at building brand recognition compared to the average media channel. But, it’s not just about the size. Creative execution plays a pivotal role, with 41% of ROI driven by the strength of the creative itself. Telstra’s campaign is a great example of how smart, bold creative can transform a campaign's impact and elevate brand fame.

Today, on World Homeless Day, we proudly honour our long-standing community partnership with Orange Sky Australia, a remarkable organisation dedicated to supporting those experiencing homelessness. To commemorate their 10th anniversary, POLY has developed a Large Format dynamic campaign in the organisation's hometown, Brisbane. The creative display showcases real-time updates of every laundry load provided to someone in need, serving as a powerful reminder of the positive impact Orange Sky has on our communities. Together, we are not just raising awareness but actively contributing to making public spaces better.

From Chatswood to Sydenham, we’re bringing brands closer to their audiences with prime new Sydney Metro stations at Crows Nest, Victoria Cross (North Sydney), Barangaroo, Martin Place, Pitt Street, Waterloo, and new underground platforms at Central. As Jarrad Cook from Wavemaker says, capturing people on their daily commute with higher dwell times presents an incredible opportunity for advertisers to engage with audiences in a meaningful way and in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.
