The future of Heidelberg West is looking bright! ☀️ We’re delivering 104 brand-new homes, including 51 social housing and 53 affordable housing to support the local community and help tackle housing affordability. These modern, high-quality, and energy-efficient homes will replace 94 outdated dwellings. Designed to be more comfortable, sustainable, and cost-effective to heat in winter and cool in summer. New homes for those who need them most. Residents have moved into eight new homes in Shepparton, providing much-needed housing for those impacted by the 2022 floods. These modern, all-electric social housing homes feature solar panels, rainwater tanks, built-in garages, and reverse cycle air conditioning—offering comfort, sustainability, and security. They’re also close to shops, schools, transport, and essential services. This project was Delivered in partnership with Beyond Housing, under the Regional Housing Fund’s Flood Recovery program - a broader commitment to 70 new homes across regional Victoria. We’re excited to share that renters are now settling into their new homes at the Abbotsford Street site in North Melbourne, thanks to our partnership with not-for-profit community housing provider Housing First 🏡 This development includes 127 modern social housing homes and 17 market townhouses, delivering essential housing to the local community.
