Our WA EV Network is now fully operational. CEO Stephanie Unwin joined the Premier and Minister for Energy to announce the milestone, delivered with Synergy (Electricity Generation and Retail Corporation) and our State Government partners. Our EV Network is one of the world’s longest connected electric vehicle highways, stretching a massive 7000km from Kununurra in the north to Mundrabilla near the South Australian border. There are now more than 100 EV charging points across 49 locations. We’re very proud to have delivered a significant step toward our cleaner, more sustainable, energy future. The number of EVs on our roads has grown significantly in recent years and is expected to continue to rise, and for us, the regions come first. We are committed to ensuring that communities across regional and remote WA can take advantage of EVs, helping drivers get to their next destination, without range anxiety or interruption. Head to our website to discover more about the WA EV Network and our commitment to a cleaner energy future. https://lnkd.in/e9cE4B7Q

Last year, we continued our long-standing partnership with Teach Learn Grow (TLG) and what a fantastic year of achievements they had. Thanks for the shout out, TLG!
Thank you to our long-standing partner and huge supporter, Horizon Power! In 2024, we were lucky enough to have Jules from the Horizon Power community team participate with TLG in the Central Park Plunge, and we can't wait to see what we can achieve in 2025. In 2024, Horizon Power helped TLG to provide 231 students with 1,706 hours of one-on-one tutoring and mentoring in the Midwest and Kimberley regions of WA.

"In amongst our busy working lives, it’s so important to pause, appreciate what you have, and to see where you can give back through volunteering, whether that be a one-off event, or on an ongoing basis" ---Ray Achemedei How we show up in everything we do is what makes our culture at Horizon Power. Thanks for sharing Ray and congratulations to everyone who volunteered this year through our partner organisations. Volunteering WA
Last week I spent an inspiring morning volunteering at Dandelions WA. This incredible organisation helps children in need throughout WA by supplying school backpacks full of stationery items, a lunch box, water bottle, hat and toiletries. The event was organised by Volunteering WA for their Corporate Volunteer Council, which is made up of Horizon Power, Bankwest, Beyond Bank, BHP, Deloitte, RAC WA, Rio Tinto and Woodside Energy. Together we packed over 500 backpacks! The bags have already been sent to kids in need so that they can start the 2025 school year on an equal footing with their peers. In amongst our busy working lives, it’s so important to pause, appreciate what you have, and to see where you can give back through volunteering, whether that be a one-off event, or on an ongoing basis. Volunteers are the heart of a community, and at Horizon Power, our employees have opportunities to help a range of not-for-profit organisations through our corporate volunteering program. I’m really proud that we’re able to give back and contribute to vibrant communities throughout regional WA.
