Michael Wu | Principal Structural Engineer – Team Lead NSW Michael joined Innovis as the first team member in Sydney over a year ago, and we are thrilled to see him step into the role of Team Lead for NSW. His hard work and achievements have earned him our confidence and support from both the local and national teams. His contributions include helping to build and manage the NSW office, delivering key projects for clients both locally and nationally, and providing hands-on mentorship to our younger staff. Camilo Pinto | Principal Modeler – BIM Lead Camilo has been with Innovis for over three years, during which he has collaborated with a talented team and contributed to a variety of impactful projects. He has implemented tools and standards to collect data from Revit models such as steel tonnage and embodied carbon to improve design efficiency. He has also led the BIM coordination process between disciplines to ensure agile and accurate outcomes. Camilo’s time with us has greatly enhanced his professional knowledge and skills, and we are excited to support his continued growth. Tasi Z. | Principal Structural Engineer Since joining Innovis, Tasi has contributed to a range of projects across both permanent and temporary works, significantly contributing to the company's growth. Commercial & General's Eighty Eight O'Connell Street has completed pouring the final tower slabs! INNOVIS Consulting Graduate Engineer Kaylah Button has been instrumental in delivering the Construction Phase Services for this project. Kaylah notes: "I had the chance to inspect majority of the tower slabs prior to the concrete pours, each time giving me the opportunity to become more efficient when attending site inspections and continuously learning along the way. Each time I return for an inspection, the views of Adelaide keep getting more impressive. With our civil team rapidly expanding our services, we’re excited to share some of the recent projects we’ve been involved with:   Fradd East Road, Munno Para West – The team have been working diligently on the detailed design, involving various authorities negotiations and are anticipating the commencement of this project soon.   Flaxley Road, Mount Barker – We’ve been involved in the civil works review and future stage design for this new up and coming project.   Denbrow Street, West Beach – The Contractor has hit the ground, commencing at the perfect time for Sales making the team at Innovis eager for the progression of this project. INNOVIS Consulting are excited to welcome Andrew Lo to the team as a Principal Structural Engineer. Andrew will also be overseeing Innovis’ Asset Management growth initiatives. Andrew brings over 13 years of experience across design, construction, and asset management from his background in structural engineering. Over his career, Andrew has delivered major commercial and high-rise buildings, undertaken technical due diligence on over AUD$2 billion worth of commercial property transactions, and completed condition assessments for asset management planning on behalf of government entities across Australia. Andrew states: “Effective asset management of our built environment starts at the ideation or acquisition of an asset, not when the asset already exists. To effectively manage an asset, we need to understand its condition and technical performance in relation to its capacity and intended use. This is where having consultants on your team who understand both asset management and engineering performance becomes critical in ensuring that asset owners can mitigate their operational risks, keep their maintenance costs optimised and capitalise on redevelopment opportunities.” Innovis’ service offerings now include detailed property and asset condition assessments, capital works scoping, design technical due diligence and technical feasibility assessments. These services will allow us to support our clients throughout the lifecycle of property and infrastructure assets and will complement our existing expertise in civil and structural engineering.
