🎥 Kula Gold Chairman Mark Stowell captured this overhead view of the Company’s Mt Palmer Gold Mine whilst on a recent site visit - where our maiden drill programme is continuing with diamond drilling. Kula is drilling under the Main and East Lode located at Mt Palmer’s historic high-grade open pit and underground mine, which had a past production run of mine to 15.9g/t #Gold. 🗣 Kula Managing Director Ric Dawson commented: “Historic data reviewed by Kula’s technical team shows solid targets for high-grade gold mineralisation extending below 160m, the last mining level, shallow by today’s modern operating practice.” The Mt Palmer Gold Mine is located near Marvel Loch in the Southern Cross Goldfields of WA. #diamonddrilling #goldexploration #drilling #southerncross #westernaustralia #mining #exploration

⛏ Latest Bulls N' Bears feature on Kula Gold in The West Australian: 📰 'Kula probes deeper into historic Mt Palmer Gold Mine' Kula Gold has cranked up a diamond drilling program at its Mt Palmer Gold Mine near Marvel Loch in Western Australia’s Southern Cross goldfield to test below the shallow limits of previous #Gold production that was interrupted by World War II. The company has designed three HQ3 diamond drillholes for a total of 320m of core, neatly exploiting three existing reverse-circulation (RC) drillholes as pre-collars to depths between 102m and 156m. The holes will test the down-plunge, along-strike extensions to the site’s historically-known gold orebody. HQ3 diamond coring uses a third barrel referred to as an inner tube-liner or split tube, which is typically employed to maximise core recovery when drilling coal, clay or clay-bearing, or highly-fractured formations to deliver maximum core recovery and also to maintain core integrity. The coring operation at Mt Palmer will be undertaken by contractor Terra Drilling Pty Ltd, which has agreed to provide drilling services in return for equity related to any further metreage within the current target framework beyond the initial three holes. 🗣 "Historic data reviewed by Kula shows solid targets for high-grade gold mineralisation extending below 160m, the past mining level, shallow by today’s modern operating practices. With the current gold price over $US2500/ounce ($A3800), this is an opportune time for Kula to be exploring and advancing a previously-producing high-grade gold mine," Kula Gold managing director Ric Dawson said. The historic Mt Palmer gold mine was last commercially mined in 1944, only as deep as the 6 Level (about 160m deep). It produced about 158,000 ounces of gold at 15.9 grams per tonne between 1934 and 1944. 📰 Full article in The West Australian: https://lnkd.in/gN67eBtf ⛏ Kula's ASX Release: https://lnkd.in/guQuHREC #mining #goldexploration #exploration #drilling #southerncross #bullsnbearswa #westernaustralia #thewestaustralian #diamonddrilling

⛏ "With the current #Gold price over $US2,500/ounce ($A3,800), this is an opportune time for Kula to be exploring and advancing a previously producing high grade gold mine," Kula Gold MD Ric Dawson. Kula has begun Diamond Core Drilling with Terra Drilling Pty Ltd at its historic high grade Mt Palmer Gold Mine near Marvel Loch in the Southern Cross Goldfields of WA. HIGHLIGHTS 🔘 Diamond HQ3 core drilling commences under historic Mt Palmer Gold Mine with past production run of mine (ROM) being 15.9g/t gold 🔘 Plan to drill 320m of HQ3 diamond core with Terra Drilling from 3 existing RC holes pre-collared to 102m- 156m 🔘 Terra Drilling has agreed to provide their services for equity funding in any additional diamond core drilling holes over the planned 3 holes 🔘 Mt Palmer Gold Mine is ~15km from the Marvel Loch gold plant and infrastructure, and ~90km from the Edna May gold plant, which aligns with Kula’s strategy of exploring near to existing operations to fast track any discovery to monetary success 🗣️ Dawson added: “This is an exciting next phase in our first round of our maiden drilling programme at Mt Palmer. This historically rich ‘half ounce’ gold mine is now ready for this next stage of the drilling programme with the diamond drilling planned to test below the production stopped by 1944 exodus of miners due to World War 2 and never re-opened. Historic data reviewed by Kula’s technical team shows solid targets for high-grade gold mineralisation extending below 160m, the past mining level, shallow by today’s modern operating practices. With the current gold price over $US2,500/ounce ($A3,800), this is an opportune time for Kula to be exploring and advancing a previously producing high grade gold mine whilst other ASX listed high grade gold developers like Spartan Resources Ltd, Southern Cross Gold and Santana Minerals Ltd are being fully appreciated with significant market capitalisations.” ⚙️ Full details on the program below: https://lnkd.in/guQuHREC #exploration #mining #goldexploration #diamonddrilling #southerncross #westernaustralia #goldfields #drilling #goldprice

⛏ Kula Gold's announcement of a new high-grade lode to 6.66g/t #Gold at the Company's Mt Palmer Gold Mine has been featured in The West Australian and by Mining Hub. 📰 Excerpt from Bulls N' Bears feature - 'Kula hits new WA Gold lode at high-grade Mt Palmer Mine': "Kula Gold has unearthed a new shallow lode at its recently-acquired historic Mt Palmer gold mine in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields, with a maiden drilling campaign delivering a 4m intercept grading 3.02 grams per tonne gold from just 18m. The company’s latest suite of results released today also show that the hit includes a rich 1m interval at an impressive 6.66g/t gold. Management noted that the newly-identified gold lode aligns with historic drilling at Mt Palmer, including one hole that struck a 7m intercept at 3g/t. A 1m section at an eye-catching 10.6g/t gold was also recorded in the same hole. Known as the Bryant Lode, the new mineralised area lies 500m south of the main workings at the project and appears to demonstrate a contiguous zone of shallow gold mineralisation open to the north and south. According to Kula, the results from its three-hole reverse-circulation (RC) campaign suggest that further drilling is warranted at Mt Palmer in efforts to define a resource estimate at the project. Between 1934 and 1944, the mine produced more than 150,000 ounces of gold at a cracking grade of 15.9g/t." 📰 Full article in The West Australian: https://lnkd.in/d2bU9Smb 📊 Mining Hub: https://lnkd.in/gqvyDhBA ⛏ Kula's ASX Release: https://lnkd.in/gPnr32Fj #mining #goldexploration #exploration #rcdrilling #drilling #mininghub #southerncross #bullsnbearswa #westernaustralia

📷 Kula Gold's new high-grade Bryant Lode - up to 6.66g/t #Gold - at the Company's Mt Palmer Gold Mine, with next stage diamond drilling planned in coming weeks. ⛏ RC drilling at this new and advancing Mt Palmer prospect Bryant Lode returned 4m at 3.02g/t Gold and 1m at 6.6g/t Gold from 18m near surface - aligning with historic holes of up to 7m at 3g/t Gold including 1m at 10.6g/t Gold. These are drill widths, true width to be confirmed with future drilling. 🗣 Kula Managing Director Ric Dawson: "This historically rich ‘half ounce’ gold mine is now ready for the next stage of the drilling programme with diamond drilling planned in the coming weeks to test below the rich production stopped by WW2 exodus of miners in 1944 and never reopened. Rigorous analysis of all historic data by Kula’s technical team and shows solid targets for high-grade gold mineralisation extending below past mining levels at 160m, shallow in today’s operating environment." The Mt Palmer mine lease and surrounding areas have excellent exploration potential for the discovery of additional deposits, given limited systematic exploration to date. RC pre-collars have been completed in 3 holes and the diamond drill programme will extend those holes to test the down plunge, along strike extensions to the historically known orebody at the Mt Palmer Mine. ⚙ Full details: https://lnkd.in/gPnr32Fj ⛏ About the Mt Palmer Gold Mine The mine produced over 150,000 ounces of gold at 15.9 grams/tonne in the period 1934 to 1944 and is north of the Nevoria Gold Mine (+600,000 ounces of gold), east of the circa 2.4 million ounce Marvel Loch Gold Mine. The mine closed in part due to the continuation of World War 2 severely restricting access to labour and materials and subsequently the mine flooded and was never reopened. Limited exploration since that time has been carried out, largely targeting open pit (less than 100m from surface) opportunities. #mining #goldexploration #exploration #rcdrilling #drilling #southerncross #westernaustralia
