This week, we celebrated #GoBananasDay in schools and early learning centres across the country - highlighting the many nutritional benefits that make bananas so a-peeling! It's no wonder they're Healthy Harold's favourite fruit. After a fun-filled day with students, Healthy Harold and Jono Peatfield hit the gym, for a #GoBananasDay workout, fueled by nature's non-stop energy snack. Thank you to our partner Hort Innovation for helping us empower Aussie kids to make nutritious choices for their health and wellbeing. #HealthyHarold #GoBananaDay Australian Banana Growers Terese Hooper Fang Xu

"It takes a village to raise a child" – a truth our founder, Rev. Ted Noffs embraced in 1979 when he recognised the health challenges facing young people. Instead of using scare tactics, he saw value in empowering young people with knowledge. With a life-size Transparent Anatomical Mannequin (TAM), rotating floor, sparkling starlights and a robotic giraffe, the Life Ed program was born, providing students with a unique education experience. Today, Life Ed reaches over 280,000 children across NSW and ACT each year! We'd love to hear your Healthy Harold stories. Share your experiences with us: https://lnkd.in/gjRbnZDP #45yearsofImpact #HealthyHarold

Did you know, Healthy Harold once had a royal encounter? 🦒👑 Our founder, Reverend Ted Noffs, met HRH King Charles (then Prince Charles) during a royal tour in the 1980s. The Prince was inspired by Life Ed's work, that when he returned to the UK, he advocated the launch of Life Ed there. Today, Life Ed UK reaches over half a million children! 🌍📚 Do you have a favourite Harold memory? We'd love it hear it! Share your story here: https://lnkd.in/gjRbnZDP

Since 1979, Life Ed has been empowering young Australians to make safe and healthy choices. Reverend Ted Noffs of the Wayside Chapel founded Life Ed in 1979. His vision was built on a powerful concept: "Every child is unique, a true marvel in body, mind and spirit." At a time when most education campaigns focused on shock and awe, Life Ed took a strengths-based approach - focusing on empowering children with the knowledge and confidence to make positive decisions. With the iconic Healthy Harold by their side, students have been learning life lessons in our unique mobile classrooms for over 45 years. 🚍🦒 Do you have a story to share about Healthy Harold? We want to hear from you: https://lnkd.in/gjRbnZDP #45yearsofimpact #healthyharold
