We need your help to continue to build strong local boards across NSW! It’s important we hear your feedback on the local board elections process. Our local boards reflect the needs of the region and the communities that they represent. We want to know what you thought of the voting process, did it stop you from participating or was there something else? Whether you, as a ratepayer, voted recently or haven’t participated before, we want to know why. Complete our 5-minute survey before it closes on Thursday 17 April 2025. Your feedback will help us reshape the future of our local board elections. Let us know what you think. https://lnkd.in/ggrxCZGA

“The whole idea for us is to leave the place better than when we came.” 🌳🌲 Glenn and Brooke, from Glenbrook Farm on the South Coast, are on a mission to regenerate their 80 hectares of native forest. With the resources and advice from Local Land Services, they’ve created a Private Native Forestry Plan that aligns with their long-term vision. “With forest conservation we were new to it, and the journey of learning has been steep. With Local Land Services, if they weren't around, I don't know what we would do. It made us get moving on projects that we would have otherwise left. We’re on top of the property now.” This #InternationalDayOfForests, discover how other landholders across NSW are making a lasting impact. 👉 https://bit.ly/3xOuKOa

On World Wildlife Day, we celebrate the incredible diversity of life that surrounds us. 🐨 🌱 🌏 Divya shares “For me, World Wildlife Day is a great opportunity to appreciate the diversity of this world. It blows my mind that some of these creatures exist – their adaptations and behaviours and quirks.” It’s a reminder of how every creature plays a role in the balance of nature. Divya also encourages us to “Get involved and connect with your community! There are so many awesome programs out there for koala conservation, and a bunch of passionate people working hard in this space. Whether it’s joining a tree-planting day, spreading awareness through your grapevines, or supporting local projects, every little bit helps.” Together, we can protect these wonders for future generations. #WorldWildlifeDay #Conservation #WWD2025 NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development

“I've decided to join LLS as I was fortunate enough to grow up in the dairy industry surrounded by an amazing community and I thought what better than to be able to give back to the community that supported me”. Our Graduate Program is designed to blend fresh ideas from new talent with the wisdom of experienced staff to deliver outstanding outcomes for farmers, land managers and local communities. The best part? Many graduates go on to secure full-time roles with LLS or other organisations. 👏 We are excited to welcome our 2025 cohort and look forward to watching them flourish throughout the year. #LLSGraduates #FutureOfFarming #LandManagement NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development
