VIB GOLF DAY IN FULL SWING Who thought playing golf was so much fun ! Friday The Kew Golf Club was yet again the location for what was our biggest golf day yet proudly presented by AGL. Over 120 partners, sponsors, Victory in Business members and special guests were treated to a full day of Ambrose golf with so many exciting activations throughout the course which included AGL, AIA Australia , Clutch & Co Golf, DuluxGroup G.T. & J.A. Jones Engineering, Local Brewing Co., adidas Golf, Skechers, Subaru Melbourne, Asahi Beverages and Substance (Hydrodol). Thanks to Nine for featuring Local Brewing Co’s Ecocrumb innovation on the Today Show this morning. Joshua McLeod has a chat to the Channel 9 team about what Ecocrumb is and how it endeavours to sustainably change the beer manufacturing process in the future whilst still making sure quality is at the forefront of the end product.

We are pleased to announce that Local Brewing Co is a successful recipient of the Coles Group Nurture Fund Grants program which partners and invests in key suppliers. Local Brewing Co will partner with Coles to develop and commercialise its Ecocrumb product to develop a sustainable grain alternative, which reduces waste by upcycling leftover bread in stores. The $400k grant will accelerate this development to make the product available for other breweries to use. A huge shout out to the Coles Liquor and Sustainabilty team including Shae Courtney, Nick McArdle, Alecia Batten, Amila Pasanovic, Iman Osman and Gemma Wilson-Dunleavy for the support, and Joshua McLeod for leading the process. https://lnkd.in/g3ZZqxWB

🍞 🍺 Raise a Toast to a Greener Brewing Future with EcoCrumb! 🌿 With over 20% of bread going to waste globally, bakers and retailers are looking for an alternative to sending this valuable resource to landfill. Since 2019, we’ve been testing the use of bread in beer production, successfully integrating it into several major beer releases. Now, we’re introducing EcoCrumb—a bread derivative product that substitutes a portion of the grain used in beer, diverting waste from landfill and other low value uses and reducing environmental impact along the value chain. As the new A-League season begins, we are pleased to announce the launch of the new and improved Victory Draught, a continuation of the partnership with Melbourne Victory Football Club. This beer is crafted in Melbourne, specifically for the dedicated fans who support their team from the stands. This season, we have refined the recipe to deliver a cleaner, crisper taste that enhances the enjoyment for all Victory supporters. In addition, we are excited to extend successful elements from our partnership last season that will enhance member engagement and foster community connections. Our Taproom in Clifton Hill will serve as the Official Away Venue for all Melbourne Victory matches, creating a vibrant fan zone with house-made pizzas, drink specials, and various activations throughout the season.
