🎣⛵TOUGH JOB//But someone's got to do it! Stunning sun rises and breathtaking sunsets have just been part of the gig for marine infrastructure specialists Marine Structures on the Seaworld Drive Boardwalk project near Mantaray Marina on the Gold Coast. 📷 - Pictured are the Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) marine piles and bonded bearers at Wagners CFT Wellcamp manufacturing facility before leaving to be installed on the Gold Coast. The FRP piles and bearers are set to support a concrete deck for the 112metres boardwalk, which will link the marina to other infrastructure, community services and residential areas. FRP is perfect for marine environments because it is: 🐟Durable - with 100-year design life 🐟Inert - will not rot, rust or corrode 🐟Resistant to marine borers & acid sulfate soils 🐟Non-toxic & non-leaching great for sensitive environments Would like to know more about Wagners FRP Marine Structure visit 👉https://lnkd.in/gJshSggu Or reach out to your local BDM for a Lunch & Learn 👉https://lnkd.in/g2y2qVux #MarineInfrastructure #FRP #SustainableConstruction #MarineEngineering #CoastalDevelopment #ConstructionLife #EnvironmentalEngineering
