What a team 🫶 Yesterday, we got to meet Schantelle Phillips IRL! Almost 1 year ago to the date, Schantelle joined Martens Legal. I had put out to the universe (well the FB group Like Minded Bitches Drinking Wine - thanks to Jane Lu for creating such a wonderful platform for people to connect 👏) that we needed extra coverage in the business for my planned mat leave. After chatting with a number of potentials, it was Schantelle who had me sold! A wonderful (remote) working relationship began, which has grown into more and more day to day responsibilities within Martens Legal - as she is a total superstar ⭐️ Schantelle is located in Townsville but is holidaying down our way, so yesterday was the first time we all got to meet in person. Exciting announcement 📣 As of this month Anna Davis has stepped into the role of Lawyer, having received her Practising Certificate from the Queensland Law Society. Anna has been with us since February 2023, starting out as a Paralegal, then Law Graduate and now Lawyer. Not only does she already have an impressive grasp of family law, but Anna's personable nature makes her the perfect person to help our clients navigate separation (and a pleasure to work with!).
