Last week, we proudly celebrated the arrival of the 80,000th Mack truck built in Australia - a powerful 685hp Mack Titan delivered to our Kalgoorlie operations! To mark the occasion, our team hosted a celebratory lunch at our Kalgoorlie office, joined by our valued partners from Truck Centre WA Pty Ltd and Mack Trucks Australia including Vice President Tony O'Connell and Senior Vice President of Mack Trucks US, Richard Million. Reflecting on this incredible milestone, Managing Director Murray Leahy recalled the delivery of MLG's very first Mack truck over 15 years ago, highlighting the enduring relationship between the two companies. Designed and built to withstand Australia’s toughest conditions, this milestone truck is purpose-engineered to handle high GCM road trains in the most remote and challenging environments. It reflects our commitment to utilising Australian-made equipment that is specifically crafted to excel in these demanding conditions.
