The #StrongMindsStrongMines team is back at our Bluebird operations this week wrapping up what has been an incredible eight-month journey at Westgold, supporting our teams and their commitment to mental wellbeing and resilience. SMSM's wellness program provides awareness into the physical and mental health problems that can affect people working in remote environments, offering a relatable approach to what can be a difficult subject to address. Matthew Pilbeam, Westgold's Chief Health and Sustainability Officer said it was the primary health and wellbeing initiative for the company in 2024. “The program encompasses the key elements of engagement, focus and commitment to enhance a mentally healthy workforce, and it's been great to see the positive response from our site-based teams,” said Matthew. #mentalhealthawareness #workplacewellbeing #resilience #westgold

FY25 Production Guidance lifts to 400-420Koz + 2024 Mineral Resource Estimate and Ore Reserves   Westgold is pleased to provide its production, cost and capital guidance for FY25, as well as an updated Mineral Resource Estimate and Ore Reserve Statement calculated as of 30 June 2024.   Highlights - FY25 production guidance nearly doubled to 400,000 – 420,000 oz (from 220,000 – 235,000 oz in FY24) - Mineral Resources grow by 60% to 13.2Moz and Ore Reserve grow by 69% to 3.3Moz - Investment in Murchison exploration in FY23 and FY24 has delivered the first increase in Murchison Ore Reserves post depletion since FY17.   Westgold Managing Director and CEO Wayne Bramwell commented on both announcements:   Production Guidance –   “FY25 sees a step change in scale of operation for Westgold. Integrating and optimising the Southern Goldfields assets will be the focus in H1 FY25, with Beta Hunt beginning to deliver increased output in H2. Murchison production lifts in H2 also as Bluebird-South Junction’s run rate hits 1.2Mtpa and our Great Fingall mine comes online in Q3/Q4.   Growth capital into our largest and highest-grade mines establishes a business capable of delivering significantly higher outputs in FY26.”   Resource Estimate and Ore Reserves –   “Westgold is growing our business both organically and inorganically. Drilling investment over FY23 and FY24 has delivered the first increase in Murchison Ore Reserves since 2017. Fletcher Exploration Target Defined at 1.6 - 2.1Moz Au First Westgold rig arrives to accelerate Fletcher Drilling Westgold is pleased to provide an update in relation to the Fletcher Zone at the Beta Hunt Mine within the Southern Goldfields operation.   Westgold Managing Director and CEO Wayne Bramwell: “Westgold has moved quickly post-merger to advance opportunities to increase production at Beta Hunt. Through the release of the Fletcher Zone Exploration Target, Westgold can now articulate what we believe to be the size of the prize, demonstrating both the potential scale and the importance of the Fletcher discovery to the Beta Hunt operation. Resource definition will be accelerated at Fletcher.
