Last month, Cohort 3 of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Trainer & Assessor Program kicked off at MrWED Training and Assessment in Brisbane. The week saw students complete the Introduction into VET Cluster with session planning, presenting, and compliance. There was plenty of laughs, good yarns, lots of learning and we even learnt how to juggle (literally). 💥 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 💥 This joint submission with Gayaa Dhuwi (Proud Spirit) Australia focuses on improving social and emotional wellbeing and reducing suicide rates for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. It emphasises how 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀 must be 𝗹𝗲𝗱 and 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
