We've launched our inaugural Disability Inclusion Action Plan - deeply influenced by the voices of our people, our approach to disability inclusion transcends checkboxes and metrics; it’s about cultivating a culture where everyone feels welcome, supported, and free to be themselves. We partnered with Get Skilled Access (GSA), founded by nib ambassador and Chief Motivation Officer, Dylan Alcott to create a plan that articulates our commitment to challenging assumptions, amplifying voices, and celebrating the diverse abilities each person brings. This plan isn’t just a collection of initiatives; it’s a reflection of our unwavering commitment to integrating inclusion into the very fabric of our organisation. We see this as an ongoing journey—one that will require us to be relentless in our pursuit of workplace equity for people living with disabilities and those who are neurodiverse. #DisabilityInclusion #DIAP #Diversity #Inclusion #GSA #DylanAlcott #nib #EquityInTheWorkplace

nib is thrilled to announce the extension of its principal partnership with the Newcastle Knights NRL and NRLW teams for two more years through to 2028.    As foundation sponsor of the Knights since its inception in 1988, it is historically one of the longest brand partnerships in the NRL, now extending into its 40th year. Our collaboration reflects our connection to the Hunter region and nib’s commitment to paving the way for greater representation of women and diversity in sport. Together, we’re focused on community initiatives such as our recent match day with Millie Boyle’s Game Changer program for people living with disability; joining forces with our employees to volunteer at local charity events, such as Ronald McDonald House; as well as a collaboration with nib and our women’s sporting partner the Minerva Network on a planned Holistic Health for Women in High Performance Sport event to be held later this year.    We’re incredibly proud of this long-term commitment and look forward to the future years of partnership. #nibhealth #defendthekingdom

nib employees have voted for their favourite charities to receive one of nib foundation’s $5,000 Good Cause Grants. These grants support the health and wellbeing of the communities where we live and work. This year, we received over 55 nominations and almost 1,000 votes from our employees based in Australia, New Zealand, and internationally.     Burn Support Group in New Zealand is one of this year’s six worthy Good Cause Grants recipients, nominated by Health Provider Engagement Lead, Tayla Henry. Tayla shared her reasons for nominating this cause:.    “I advocated for Camp Awhi at Burn Support Group to receive the Good Cause Grant because it offers a transformative experience for young burn survivors. As a support person at the camp, I've seen firsthand how these kids grow in confidence, learn new skills, and form meaningful connections in a nurturing environment. This camp is a vital resource that helps them embrace life with joy and resilience.”     Read Tayla’s story and meet our Good Cause Grant recipients 👇💚 #lifeatnib
